Speaking of shaking it up, do you remember when the Yankees were going through a stretch like this with Martin and he pulled the lineup out of the hat and I think the Chicken ended up batting cleanup.

The player carousel going round and round in this organization
is proof that the people making these call ups are clueless.

Another way to look at 'the plan' in action:
Let's see .............Pick 2 from column A and send back 1 from
    column B.

Economizing in Yankeeland. A complete joke.

God I pray a reporter heard Trashman say at his Java Juice Station, "Cappacino" instead of Capuano.........this one is a blunder, revealing the idiot Trashman has stooped too.

The good thing about Judge, Severino too, is the Team has nothing to lose by bringing both to the Roster, and everything to lose (A Pennant or WC); by Not bringing them in early. (more in this case Judge, since Luis is already up)......

as stated, what's the reason to keep Judge down in AAA for a few another week of games, when He could be used in The Bronx. Even if he isn't ripe, or doesn't catch on right away, and under a duress of a call up at that, He will still find his comfort zone soon.

Judge looked a bit off, or rather almost over whelmed by the Media and attention in the Futures Game, his first at bat. By his 2nd at bat, one could see in his facial expression alone, he had got past the jitters, and was out to kill the ball. That he did, ripping a screaming 97 mph high fastball from E. Diaz, with a one hopper, deep down the LF line, when the 3rd bagger (Renato Nunez-A's) got his glove on it......but was way too deep to make a throw at all......

I think it could be a BIG mistake the Yanx make this year, by NOT bringing up the horses, while they can, and hell yes, lets let Drew and Jones both go, DFA, walking papers, or Firing Squad, I'll take either......!!!

Since Trashman has NO trades this year to speak of, by the 7/31 deadline, this IS the reason, why Teams don't go out, & trade top prospects for big FA arms, when they have Minor Lg talent rearing to go, IMO.........!!! To do neither is wreckless, but at least, the Yanx have to get some bang out of their call ups, since there is no bang of a trade, or Winter meetings, if we want to go that far back. I see this as one of few moves, for Trashman to save face, over the pitiful year he's had, or NOT had........! (just my 2 cents, or a old hard stale, piece of bazooka gum worth.........)......

As a stand up comedian I think Seinfeld sucks, but I thought the show had some classic episodes.

Per MLB today Bird is in tonights lineup batting 7th playing 1st. Joe will also use him at DH to give Bump and the Druggist time off, waiting to see this kid play.

...glad someone else feels the same way...he's just not funny to me and he's a terrible actor. If you notice, even when he's trying to be serious he laughing/grinning. IMO, Elaine, Kramer, and Costanza make the show and the whole crew used to get paid insane money. But to me, if there's one character that could be replaced the easiest, it would be Jerry...and the show would still have been just as good.
...and if you think about it, most all of the classic scenes really had little to do with him.
