I figured some who don't keep up on the minor league stats might like to know how some of the top guys are doing in 2015. Severino is here already so I'm not putting him in the mix.

    Gary Sanchez 22yr old Catcher
    AA 61/233 .262 12hrs 36 RBI
    AAA 20/62 .323 4 hrs 17 RBI

    Rob Refsnyder 24yr old 2B/RF
    AAA 106/371 .286 8hrs 46 RBI

    Jorge Mateo 20yr old SS/DH

    AA 63/222 .284 9hrs 35 RBI

    Jake Cave 22yr old OF
    AA 112/428 .262 2hr 32 RBI

    Brady Lail 21yr old Pitcher

I'd really like to see refsnyder finish out the season in the Majors, I think he's earned it. Guys like Bird & Judge won't get any real chance until after next season when Teixeira & Beltran will be gone.

I thought only One "Bird" was in your Sports Book Rick........?

Larry Bird; the "Magic" and "Lakers" anti-venom of his time with the Celtics.......

I'm thinking maybe Sanchez can end up being a reboot on the Montero disaster. He's hitting well in AAA which is good to see.

Nice get mess. And I believe the shortstop mateo has seventy something steals also. Absolutely no reason refsnyder is not up here as there is an actual spot right now to plug him in. A-rod looks like he needs 3 or 4 days off to recharge his batteries and bump can take some rest also. I think I read somewhere that bird was a gold glove type first baseman also. Would be ballsy but maybe tex could be moved via waivers to a contender for a top prospect. Other teams seem to be giving up their prospects left and right. And then bird gets plugged right in at first

Not this year because then you pretty much announce you're giving up. Depending on next year and where this team stands at the deadline Tex could be a deadline rental you try to move to a contender. I mean as good as Tex has been this year at the plate and at first I don't see resigning him at 37 years old.

Which I'll bet he gives up in a second if he's told bird is playing first next year

...considering the he's having this year, unless he's injured I don't see anyone replacing Tex at 1B on a full time basis.
