I would love to read something like this on all the Blazers, including some of those who have left. I think they should pay Phil Jackson to do it. he certainly has credibility and we wouldn't have such hurt feelings since it came from outside the team.
Oh my! I love the "I'm Phil Jackson, I'll say whatever the F I want attitude". I wish a coach would give such a detailed and honest appraisal of our team. Coaches are rarely ever candid in criticizing players. I suppose his roster isn't full of guys he has to be worried about losing though. So take the gloves off.
Hmm. It's no surprise that his most honest appraisals are of players he's already got rid of. I doubt anybody else would give such a glowing review of Derek Fisher.
He's crazy :MARIS61: Pretty sure he would consider our players/us: ""unorganized grabastic pieces of amphibian shit!'
But even when a player is cut, coaches usually say he did a good job for us yadda yadda yadda. They don't point out their flaws publically. I don't know if it's for fear of getting sued, or if they are afraid of getting a bad reputation amongst players.
http://espn.go.com/blog/new-york/kn...elo-thought-knicks-had-great-shot-at-aldridge Phil Jackson prefers Porzingas over Aldridge at the 4??? Is Phil Jackson trying to ruin the Knicks organization or what?
http://www.cbssports.com/nba/eye-on...marcus-aldridge-because-of-kristaps-porzingis “They were saying they wanted me to be more of a center to let their guy develop and I just wasn't looking to be that,” Aldridge said. “So I was looking to play power forward, and they weren't really interested.” By ‘their guy,' Aldridge was referring to fourth overall pick Porzingis, the 7-foot-3, 19-year-old Latvian slotted for time at power forward. Aldridge, who has played power forward for most of his career, would eat up the minutes at that position and perhaps hinder Porzingis' development.“ If they're going to tell me that I have to play center and I don't want to play center, then of course it's mutual after that. But before that I was excited to meet with them. I was interested,” Aldridge said. “But they wanted to have their draft pick play and I get it.”
Who gives a shit? Lamarshmellow can cry all he wants about not being a C, but WTF does he think will happen in SA? Duncan will not play 30 mpg. Diaw and West will not play C, and they lost their two legit Cs in Splitter and Baynes.
