Some I agreed with on Blueshirt Banter. However, Skapski 4th was moronic. To me, he's got a long, long, way until he gets to Talbot's level. I wouldn't rank him that high for sure. Nieves at 12th was absurd. I don't consider him a prospect. Guy is a joke. He has no drive whatsoever. He'll be out of hockey in less than 3 years. Bodie at 17 was laughable. He's not young. He has no NHL game. Ryan Bourque at 21 was dumb. He has no NHL ability.

Can you post the link? Couldnt find it.

Isn't Bodie about 6'1, 165? He'd get blasted into the third row trying to play D at the NHL level.

I wouldn't even put Skapski in the top 10, and Halverson and the Russian kid are clearly better prospects. Tambellini is a little low too, he should be in the top 5. I'd go with either Buch/Sjkei and then Lindberg, Tambellini, Gropp and Halverson. I wouldn't write off Nieves completely, or Fogarty, we'll see how they do once they leave the NCAA. I think Bodie is a fringe NHL player but has ability. McIlrath didn't even make the top 10.lol

McIlrath has always been disrespected by most of our fan base because he was the 10th overall pick and he's not a flashy prospect. He should have made the team last year but Sather was a dumbass and signed old fart Boyle. I pray that thickhead AV uses McIlrath like I suggested and gives Staal, Girardi, Boyle and Klein some days off. Especially on these back to backs. McIlrath should play almost all the back to back games. That's 17 right there. He should play at least 20 games for Boyle and another 8 for Staal and Girardi.

Its not disrespect to keep it in perspective that Mcilrath shouldnt have been taken at #10 overall, the kid is a huge project as far as prospects go. I want this kid to pan out as much as anyone, but what happens if he gets the game time and is a total dud? You will definitely be on here in typical dump fashion complaining and calling everyone a moron and/or an idiot. Mcilrath deserves a fair shake at this point or they need to package him with someone for an asset this organization can use, that being said we have better defensive prospects then McIlrath, for starters Skejie is looking to be a better option and Graves is looking to have far more upside then Mcilrath. The kid was a gamble and a big one at that, one that just may burn this organization much like Hugh -im bagging groceries - Jessiman.

Grow up you 2 year old. That's like the first post I've read of yours in months. You still have proved you're an imbecile who knows nothing about hockey and is obsessed with anything I post. Honestly, you are as stupid as the HF posters who are probably the dumbest hockey posters in the world. What McIlrath brings is very rare for a prospect. You can count on one hand the amount of players that are legit enforcers and can play a quality shift in the NHL. You obviously don't get it. There were at least 3 other teams that were ready to take McIlrath in the top 20. If you did an ounce of research you would know that. Problem with you Lundy is you haven't got a clue how to develop a prospect. You have no patience like 95% of the tools in our fan base. I guarantee you were one of the posters who stated Fast sucks. He can't play. Trade him. A fine example of why I have you on ignore when I'm logged in. Nobody here values any of your posts. Basically, the entire board ignores you. Here is a thought, why don't you stop lecturing people who don't value anything you say and just post on hockey.

Also, I doubt you're ignorant ass even bothered to look at the entire first round in the 2010. Fowler who I'm on record stating is the most overrated player in hockey was taken 12th. The only reason he's was getting a lot of ice time is because the Ducks defenseman were lousy the first few years of his career. Now that they have a couple of young guys breaking through, expect him to be traded or have his minutes reduced a lot. He has been a bust offensively and he is as soft as butter. Campbell the goalie at 10 has been a bust. Gormley has done nothing yet taken 12th. Forbort 15 is a bust. Hishon and Watson taken 17 and 18 are busts. Bennett taken 20th is moving towards being a bust. Of the top 20 McIlrath was the only player who has had two major injuries. Yet, he's overcome those. Honestly, if he was on any other defense core other than the Rangers or maybe Chicago, he would have been in the NHL this year. He's done nothing but get better the past 2 seasons.
The reality is that your pea brain just can't get over the fact they passed on Tarasenko. Get over it.

Yes im a two year old that can post on the internet(i would be a prodigy). yet you need to senselessly launch into some insultfest. I dont post much cause i have what most people know as a LIFE. I dont come onto a message board at 4am to bitch and moan with a self-aggrandizing opinion of myself.

No he doesnt, what he brings is size, mediocre foot work, no offense and a skill in fighting that is now becoming a part of the NHL that no longer exists.

Speculation at best, lets see some sources know it all.

No the problem is you cant handle anyone elses opinion so you attack them for it. As far as fast goes i thought he was being wasted on the 4th line, I thoroughly enjoyed watching him in the playoffs do what swedes do best, play solid two way hockey. And you clearly dont have me or anyone on ignore, your neanderthal type mentality wont allow it, your ego is just to big not to have some sort of tyrant outburst towards another person. Man you must be a lonely person on " Island im better then everone"

    Says the Hypocrite.

Thanks for the incoherent rant of nonsense. wow prospects didnt pan out, what a fucking surprise. The chances of McIlrath panning out is getting smaller by the day you assclown.

"The reality is that your pea brain just can't get over the fact they passed on Tarasenko. Get over it"

And what the fuck does Tarasenko have to do with this, here we are talking about McIlrath and you need to go off on tangents to try to make yourself look profound and correct. listen OLD MAN your act wore old on the espn boards, you were banned from here and frankly the boards benefited from it. No need for a man of your lack of stature in a discussion anymore.

Yet, like a dope you responded. Amazing considering I've had you on ignore forever. Only reason I saw one post was because I wasn't logged in. You just keep getting dumber. I'm sure I didn't miss anything.
