    Since 2013 every time the Yankees have a dog and pony show honoring a former great the current unit gets its ass kicked. Facing a tough pitcher today, hope they can score for Sevey and get him a W.

    ...I just think they've way over the top with the retiring numbers thing... IMO, there should only be about 8-10 of them retired.

    Checked out River Avenue Blues, lots of good stuff over there about Jorges Day and the Yankees finally getting a win when the honor one of there own. I've been fortunate to see Berra, Howard, Munson, and Jorge all play and excel for the Yankees, winners all. Yankees fans aren't spoiled, we've just been fortunate enough to see some quality ball players and teams in our time and anything less than excellence just doesn't go right!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
