Before Reddit or Madein1903 there was ESPN forums. My time there started back in 98. Up thru 01 season the resident Homer troll was Jonah Falcon. Who like Prince was to be "nameless" so YA and I invented the asci symbol... (o) --> (O)
I joined the ESPN boards around 03 & we've have many that were missing a few & many characters that you just didn't know if they were drunk, stoned or just plain nuts. But it was a blast.
I was on the ESPN boards too and had a blast but once they converted to facebook I said bye bye....Do you guys remember a guy named Gio? He was a Tampa Bay fan that I used to fuck with everyday.
Ghost had an alta ego as did a few others. Yankeeolp always made me laugh with his way out there trade idea's.
Rick...if I got banned, I lost use of my screen name. So you'd use another email account and post as ghostoftotus44. And then right, if you regained its use you could use it as an alter ego. My favorite was to punk someone into getting banned and having already registers the ghostof version of their name. That was a great way to fuck with trolls and start infighting on the sux board.
