Add in Ruffing & Gomez to round out the starting 5 and have Mariano in the pen

Yeah if you threw in plaque members that would make an awesome pitching staff. Near unbeatable I'd say.

Question....how do you think Ruth would perform against 2015 pitching?

Honestly with guys like Ruth, Gehrig, Williams etc. I really don't think it would matter all that much.

But they didn't face the velocities or breaking stuff that hitters today experience.

    ...it's somewhat of a conundrum.

...how do you think the spoiled prima donnas of today would have fared in the 20's and 30's?

On buses and trains, etc. Sure, there is some reciprocity when you look at the entire experience. Time travel Ruth into today's lineup and say Mike Trout back to 1927. Who has the bigger year?

Of course now Rob is going to be up all hours working on this.....Rob you can borrow this

How did you know I'd get back out of bed at 1 am, after plugging in the flux capacitor? Of course, I couldn't sleep til I tried it.......

If we sent Ruth into this era today, and Mike Trout back to 1927, both would fall short to the legendary Iron Horse, Lou Gehrig.....

those are my calculations, and notes; using the capacitor of course. Noteworthy:
    I saw

Josh Gibson was playing for the NY Giants, and looked like Al Jolson, only he had a mimes make up white powder all over his face, not just around the mouth. Josh had 1 HR shy of Ruth, each year until 1930, when He hit 128 HR's, wound up with 1,015 Lifetime HR's, but was expelled from the HOF, all his records stripped, due to using Performance Enhancing Cream/Make Up Powder, (MLB latter found the face powder to be Nose Candy, ie Cocaine).......

Trout was hit by a Pitch in the head, by Carl Hubbell; in 1st week of 27, and could never play another game, sadly all he can say today is: "Can you point me to Poughkeepsie"......!?

Ruth, opting to play with this Years Yanx, was leading MLB in HR's by the All Star Break, with 62, but disappeared on a night train to Chicago, last seen with 10 dancing girls a crate of Rye Whiskey, 10 boxes of Havana Cigars, and is still MIA........It's rumored he got off the train, somewhere in Pennsultucky, where he to visit a great great Grandson, named Hammer.......

How do you turn this thing off.......???

BTW- The Flux Capacitor allowed me to get a Pic of Rick, as a Young Kid, compare to the last picture, which is his 2015 Costco Membership Card Pic.....

...like I said, it's a conundrum and a riddle that cannot be solved with any degree of certainty...too many variables, not to mention the differences in the times and contrasts.
