I think Pierce (who is better than Reggie ever was) can judge talent then based on your logic, and he thought Kedrick Brown was All-Star caliber potential. I didn't read the other posts but Penny wasn't a bad choice. He was awesome with the Magic, a joy to watch. He wasn't as good of a scorer as the other two but a very good passer and still a 20-22 point scorer(shooting at 51% in his prime). I don't remember enough to really say much more but I don't think it's a stupid poll choice at all.

hahah, I want to know who put "other". I dont know who they could possibly be thinking. But anyways, I think that is has to be Kobe...He won 3 championships alongside him, and their duo was IMO, the best of all time, even over Michael and Scottie. I think one reason people viewed Jordan and Pippen as a better duo was because they got along for their entire career unlike Shaq and Kobe. If Wade can lead his team to another championship this year once Shaq comes back, I would change my vote. Wade was the best player in the finals last year, and Kobe never was in all 3 years they won it....

It was a good poll, Kobe is the best player over his career, but Wade LED his team to the championship and even though Penny's greatness by shortened by his knees when he was with Shaq he was very good. A better passer than both, shot at a much better percentage than Kobe and got 2 or 3 steals a game. If you go overall careers then it is stupid but if it's just in the years WITH Shaq then it's not a stupid option at all.

Kobe didnt need to single handedly do it by himself. He still did great in all 3 years, but nobody is going to be the leader of the team besides Shaq when he is in his prime. Do you honestly think that Wade would have stood out more than Kobe those 3 seasons? I sure as hell dont think so...

I would order them Kobe, Wade and Hardaway right now. All I'm saying is that the poll is about which one was the best co-star and all of their stats are similar when they played with him. Some of them have bigger accomplishments than others but it isn't as far away as some of you are saying because the poll isn't "Who has had the best career."
