Every year for several decades now, through Affirmative Action, the US government denies tens of thousands of fully-qualified job seekers solely on the basis that they have Caucasian blood. The government spends millions of our tax dollars training inferior candidates to fill these positions, but only if they are non-Caucasian. Far more exceptional employees are denied promotions for the same reason, Caucasian blood. Non-Caucasians are trained at your expense to take those promotions. Seems like racism to me, and permanently devastating to the lives and families of the Caucasians it is committed against, but I guess it's Institutional Racism because the instigators who created this injustice are also primarily Caucasians.

I don't know if Pat Buchanan is a racist. My problem was the stats themselves and how they were collected. JFizz is an accountant, he's probably taken more statistic classes then I have. I took one and that was just enough to realize you can not draw the conclusions that Mr Buchanan did. It's not mandatory for police departments to compile these stats and in some departments it's going to be police officer compiles them, in others a clerk, maybe in others an intern. Where did the stats listed come from? They could be from only one department. One state. One precinct. Also, and the biggest problem with this stat, it requires some sort of an admission from the perpetrator. A robbery is a robbery is a robbery. A robbery of a white is a robbery of a white. A robbery of a black person is a robbery of a black person. How do you classify hate rape vs rape? Do you ask the victim? "Were you hate raped or was it a regular rape?" Do you ask the criminal? "Did you rape her or did you hate rape her?" Remember now, if they admit to hate rape there will be additional charges and additional time in jail. Even in the cases where they might be some evidence or admissions of hate rape, in our plea bargain legal system hate crime & rape would be plead down to rape. The hate rape stats in that FBI report are worthless. That's why you only see people with agendas or narratives use them. (Not saying you have an agenda, Jfizz. I'm saying that Mr Buchanan and Shelly do.)
I'm using those stats because it's literally the only ones I could find. In most cases you can search on Google and some argument you can use to support your position. I'm not trying to push an agenda at all and I honestly would just want the facts. Obviously things I've heard and seen have swayed me to certain ways of thinking, which absolutely could be ignorant. I admit the fbi stats are inconclusive, but it's literally the only compiled data available and it's quite chilling to analyze. Bottom line is I'm a numbers guy. I like analyzing stats, not the conjecture of an individual. 1 The ethnicity totals are representative of those agencies that provided ethnicity breakdowns. Not all agencies provide ethnicity data, therefore the race and ethnicity totals will not equal.
The statistics are complicated to collect and understand, unfortunately. Crimes have to be reported or the government uses some formula to derive some "truer" numbers for the data. And then, the data says to Pat Buchanan something a lot different than they say to me (or anyone with an ounce of Reason). There's the underlying causes of the data as well. For example, a % of crime committed by black people might be arrived at because the police look the other way when white people commit the same crimes as minorities. Or a confluence of factors that include the arrest of black males (no father figures), high unemployment for black people, education funds diverted from inner city schools, and lack of mobility make people desperate to make a living.
