His rebounding has definitely improved, I'm hoping he's up to averaging a double-double by the end of the season. Gotta love 4 blocks from Gerald Green too, that was impressive.
too much AI :shifty2: this dude is really fitting in well. 10 assists in his debut and 13 in his second game.and 28 points. good thing the knicks don't see him at all this season :dribble:
28 points, 13 assists for AI. Not too shabby. :winkglasses: Boykins also had another great game with 28 points. Is it just me, or does it seem like AI has been playing with the team for years when they get on the fast break?
I also love how you come over to our thread to talk about the game, Camby The Celtics forum is so active
Plenty of C's fans, especially taking our success (or lack thereof) over the past decade into account.
I loved the heart tonight, I loved the hustle, but WOW we had a lot of problems. First of all, the refs were WAYYYYYYY too quick with the whistle tonight... jesus christ. Foul after foul after foul for Denver. But oh well, that's not the only problem. We made some stupid passes and got too many unforced turnovers, Delonte got hurt, and to top it off... we couldn't hit anything. Fouls Al Jefferson - 5 Gerald Green - 5 Sebastian Telfair - 5 Rajon Rondo - 5 Tony Allen - 4 Brian Scalabrine - 3 Ryan Gomes - 2 Delonte West, Allan Ray, Leon Powe - 1 Total: 32 Denver: 17 Buuuullshiiiiit Oh, and Allen Iverson? He was phenominal tonight! Tony Allen 18 points, 6 rebounds, 4 assists, 2 steals on 8-17 shooting TA really brought a lot of energy. He had a couple plays where he really forced it, but he made up for those. I think TA did a really nice job, once again, and I'm loving it. Also, that dunk was awesome. I'm so pissed that Delonte is out again, re-aggravating his back. F*ck! Right after he wins his starting job back and has an outstanding first half, too. Ugh... Merry f*cking Christmas, eh? Al Jefferson 16 points, 15 rebounds (career high), 2 assists, 2 blocks on 8-15 shooting I really wish Al would have stayed out of foul trouble, he really was doing an excellent job. He was a complete MONSTER on the offensive glass (8 offensive rebounds) and he brought a lot of toughness to the table. Despite the foul trouble, Al did an awesome job. Oh, and that hook shot was awesome, and old school. Tommy would have loved that. Gerald Green 18 points, 8 rebounds, 2 assists, 2 steals, 4 blocks on 7-17 shooting (2-5 from 3) Gerald did a pretty good job. He was extremely active, he got up there and contested shots (even blocked 4 of them), he was active on the glass, he didn't settle for outside shots. I think every one of Gerald's shots were good ones, except maybe 1 or 2. Good job, Gerald! Keep it up young fella! Delonte West 11 points, 1 rebound on 3-7 shooting (5-6 FT) in 18 minutes Delonte went up to block an Earl Boykins layup, and Boykins got caught under him. Delonte then had to turn in mid-air, and he fell HARD right on his back... the same place he had trouble with in the beginning of the season. He reportedly was having back spasms, and this does NOT look good. I have to give him credit for at least trying to play in the second half, though. But I'd be VERY shocked if he played this week. But, when he was out there in the first half, he was awesome. He shot the ball well, picked his spots well, and got to the line. But it's just really unfortunate that this happens to him on the day he wins his starting job back. Rajon Rondo 6 points, 1 rebound, 6 assists, 2 steals on 3-7 shooting in 16 minutes When Rondo was out there, he did pretty well. I'm very happy that he was aggressive offensively. He took some jumpers and he took it to the basket. He did pass up a couple shots, but he did a lot better than usual. He's going to need to do this as long as Delonte is out. I'm pissed that Delonte is hurt, but I am happy Rondo will get good minutes. Sebastian Telfair 7 points, 2 rebounds, 3 assists on 2-4 shooting He was aggressive offensively, something he needed to do, and the main reason Doc started Delonte. But he got into foul trouble and he really got discouraged early on. That's never good, his confidence was shot. Ryan Gomes 3 points, 7 rebounds, 3 assists, 1 steal on 0-6 shooting (3-4 FT) Gomes didn't have a good game. He didn't have that usual soft touch around the basket and he couldn't get anything down. He made a few very nice passes though, and he played hard, but he couldn't buy a basket tonight. Allan Ray 12 points, 1 rebound, 1 steal on 5-10 shooting, 1-3 from 3 in 18 minutes Eh. People are saying he played well, but he didn't do that good IMO. He threw up 2 or 3 airballs, he didn't make very good decisions, and his defense wasn't good. I am happy for him that he got minutes and he did knock down some shots, but I wasn't as "impressed" as some of you guys are. Also, some of his points were in the last few minutes (garbage time, meaningless buckets, sagging Nuggets defense). Brian Scalabrine 9 points, 4 rebounds, 1 assist, 1 steal, 2 blocks on 4-6 shooting (1-3 from 3) Scal made 2-3 bad passes, but he did a pretty solid job tonight. He was active as usual and he knocked down his shots tonight. Not bad. Leon Powe 5 points, 3 rebounds, 1 steal, 1 block on 2-4 shooting in 13 minutes I love Powe, it's that simple. Every time he's in there, he brings a TON of energy and toughness, and I LOVE it. Injury Updates - Perk is most likely going to play tomorrow. - Wally is aiming for Friday. - Delonte hurt his lower back pretty bad tonight, if he plays within the week I'd be VERY surprised. Next Game Tomorrow night (12/27/06) @ LA Clippers at 10:30 pm ET.

QUOTE

Total: 32Denver: 17Buuuullshiiiiit
Agreed, you can't expect to win with that type of bias from the officials.
Cmon man why would the officials be biased against a cellar dweller with no "bad guys" It is way more likely that all the young gus are still learning how to play good D without fouling.
A few officials hate Paul Pierce, and obviously they want to make Iverson look good. Go watch tape of us playing Golden State in Boston the other night, and then tell me that the officials aren't biased. Was Kenny Mauer officiating tonight by any chance?
