My brother keeps calling John Dodson, Antoine and now I can't get that out of my head.

Would've preferred to see Mir/Arlovski finish in a draw. Miserable fight.

    Few thoughts...

Great fights between Pennington/Andrade, Lineker/Rivera, and Pearson/Felder led into dull ones on the PPV.

PVZ/Chambers played out as the UFC had hoped. Showcase fights on PPV makes it feel like pro wrestling. Chambers is almost twice PVZ's age.

Anderson/Blachowicz had no business being on PPV.

Anthony Johnson was taking shit from people online this week for cropping his puppy's ears. Didn't seem to be a distraction for him. Between that and the domestic abuse allegations he seems to be less than the public image he attempts. Not a fan of his but holy fuck does he hit hard.

Arlovski/Mir was surprisingly horrible with neither fighter willing to take a risk. Wasn't hoping to see another Mir/CroCop. Frank's body looks like he's going back to being out of shape again like he was against Brandon Vera. Arlovski couldn't pull the pin. A draw would've been preferable since neither fighter deserved the W.

DJ/Dodson played out as expected I guess. Dodson looked for power shots but faded quickly. DJ's pace is incredible. Fans hated it.

Overall not a great show. Not surprising to hear DFW was outside giving tickets out. The buyrate should be dismal compared to the last two shows.

I don't think DJ will ever headline another card again unless its free. He's a PPV killer and not a fan draw.

He's a great fighter, but the little dudes don't sell.

Easy to say now I guess but I think I said it prior--booking Mir vs. Arlovski was stupid. Instead of making one of them a contender you got a controversial decision that makes them both look like shit.
