Color me unimpressed by Michigan State. This is supposed to be a contender. They have the veteran QB. They have the veteran defense. We're working through some issues with a young secondary and a new QB. They're only up by 7. Pretty sad.
This is crazy! I've never seen the ducks have these types of problems on the offensive end. Is Michigan St this good?
Maybe they should give Lockie a chance if Vernon doesn't improve. Vernon is the problem with our offense, which is otherwise loaded with talent.
All said and done, they were a foot from being tied. Have to take advantage of opportunities in the red zone.
We can't go vertical, and that's MSU's weakness. All our yards are on bubble screens, it's like Darrell Bevell's wet dream out here.
I just think Vernon hasn't adjusted from the mentality that he is the only guy that can make plays. He came from a school where he had to create everything, and that's not the case here. He needs to be quicker when he makes decisions. We have so many weapons. He's holding the ball too long, and he's really not that quick. He can't really run away from anyone.
Yes, he needs to make quicker reads, if nothing is there throw it away or take off and get what you can, don't go Southeast.
Well they're the 5th ranked team in the country, so........ They're a good team, but we're making a lot of mistakes that are unforced.
