Atleast when Saddam was in power, there was a defined government. Now the US is just basically sitting in the crossfire, trying to referee two parties they have no power over.

It was, more or less, almost an act of self defense</div> If he caught someone going against his government he would often times have the whole extended family of the person slaughtered, innocent women and children as well...people had no trials...innocence was never determined. His government run police would just kill people in the streets for basic violations...etc...

Some people obviously now miss the structure of the old goverment, obviously now Iraq is a mess with no defined leadership, racial fighting (which was controlled by Saddam with an iron fist, Shiites had no voice and they were shut out). Now it's all unraveling...unfortunately.

Yeah, its brainwashing. its like he was convincing them what he was doing was right, and that it would get fixed. Constantly delaying and being stubborn about the government. Whoops, was talking about Bush again :shifty2:EDIT: There is no racial fighting in Iraq, BCB, its all religious. Which is intresting because they all have the same religion, Islam.

I agree that maybe it's just the fact that they now have no stable government, and it just the fact that they had an organized system of government before, but I still don't agree with invading in the first place and causing all this chaos.

Re: Saddam to die 30 days from now!

Iraq's very complicated, thats what a lot of people, including the Bush administration, fail to realize. Iraq was more stable under Saddam than it is now, thats because Hussien rulled with an iron fist, if you rule that way you simply eliminate any opposition, than you stratigically terrorize certain people to scare the rest into submission. Saddam Hussien was also a masterful politician, He knew when to do things at just the right time to "appease" his people. He would show executions on TV, not for entertainment but for fear-- this actually became a double edge sword, because eventually people began seeing these executions as some sort of specticle, just like the ancient Romans did. and like the Romans this blood has desensitized some of the people there, they are use to murder and violence, so they aren't really afraid of dying. Some people are also using the choas of war to further personal agendas and vendettas. some see their actions as justified because of the actions of Saddam Hussien, He would kill Shi'ites for no reason sometimes. the people who lost a loved one in these killings are basically living by "an eye for an eye".Is Iraq better today than it was six years ago? no. Are the futures of the Iraqi people better today than it was six years ago? yes. A lot of people forget that when ever you occupy a hostel land you're going to get insurgents. look at our own history, the former confederate states had an insurgentcy which lasted at a minimum of 10 years, but some could argue that it lasted over 100.

Couldn't you just post it? If it's the one on ebaumsworld, it's just him looking up with a snapped neck... you don't really see him fall.
