if you get to see the game...check the box score..32 fouls for the celtics to 17 for the nuggetsAI played phenomenal but just lettin you know that there was a lot of ref biasthere was 11 calls against the celtics in the 1st quarter7 in the first 6 minutes

Yeah Iverson really did have a good game. He got to the spots he wanted, he scored from a bunch of different spots on the floor, and he got to the free throw line. But some of the passes he dished off were outstanding. He really doesn't get enough credit for his passing skills. Now that he has better teammates to, his playmaking skills are going to start to get more noticed (I hope so, anyway).

There were at least 10 more fouls that could have been called on the Celtics against AI that weren't called.AI is known to attack the basket, as are the Nuggets as a whole. Celtics are more of a jump shooting team. Nuggets lead the NBA in FT attempts for that reason. Boston is high up there too, but mainly because of Paul Pierce who is missing. Boston also is second in the league at fouling teams, even before yesterday's games. No real ref bias. Just part of the game.

Watching AI in two games and seeing how comfortable he is with up tempo offense, you have to wonder why the Sixers never really implemented a faster paced offense. They could have had AI2 and Carney running the wings, with Korver spotting up.

I wonder how Carmelo will get his once he gets back. We all know AI is comfortable with being the number 1 option but having to give the ball not to see again in many possessions once Carmelo comes back could bother him. We'll see though. I guess I'm a pessimist with the effects of Carmelo. I have to see to believe when it comes to good results.

Im a bit optimistic when Mello comes back and heres why. Both players demand double teams but thats impossible to do because you would then have 3 other players that could roam freely around the basket. So with Iverson being more of a distributer on this team he creates more open shots for Carmello allowing him to go 1 on 1 with people that can't guard him. I really believe this can work perfectly. When Camby gets back as well he will feast off of AI and he probably becomes an "Allstar" caliber player in the 2nd half of the season, Im talking 17 ppg 12 rpg 3 bpg sorta deal.If I had to predict I can expect this from both Mello and AIAllen Iverson: 25.4 ppg 9.6 apg 2.3 steals per gameCarmello Anthony: 30.2 ppg 5.4 rpg 0.8 stpg 3.2 apg

When guys finish AI will pass the ball he is a not ball hog at all. I been watching him for years here in Philly.

AI is the kind of guy who doesn't like to throw away possessions by passing to teammates who're likely to brick the shots. When his teammates are not making any shot, especially, he thinks he should shoot it because that's when the possession is going to be most successful. Nothing wrong with that, but it often looks like he is selfish... although what he wants is simply the success of execution. A lot in today's game vs. Spurs he was looking for his teammates but since they (our big men) mostly didn't know how to cut better, make themselves slightly more open, the pass wasn't there and he's forced to take it himself. But he passed a lot to J.R. and Boykins... two alley-oops for J.R. which was done perfectly for the first attempt, failed at the second one. Numerous three pt open looks for those guys as well. Had J.R. made most of the shots with his season average, AI would have 2-3 assists more. That Melo guy... he sure knows how to score. I see no reason for AI to hold the ball when he's not forced to do it.

At the end of the game when AI passed to JR for a 3 and he missed it when we were down just a few with little time left at that point it looked like the Spurs had the game for some reason. But JR I think will be fine after a few more games with AI.AI will pass if those guys finish. And those who don't think so should have watched the all star games, and how AI played for team USA.

Seriously, people need to realize that if Iverson was willing to pass the ball to Webber and set him up repeatedly while seeing that he was just chucking up brick after brick from the elbow, he damn sure will be willing to pass the ball up to Carmelo who is the leading scorer in the league.Don't judge the man, because he has NEVER played with another superstar in this league, aside from the ASG, and in two of his seven or so trips to the ASG he has won the MVP...

Even when we proov are point they still don't listen. AI passed to Webber he will pass to Melo. And I am tired of giving all star examples, and team USA examples you will see when they start playing together.

And get a PF who can start, and play D cause Martin always has injurys seems like. lol GO PAU GET HIM NUGGETS GET HIM LOL
