Thinking of skipping the peak. I mean its just a high vantage point. I think I'm going to spend the day to go to Lan Tau and the Big Buddah and Po Lin monestary instead. Go around Kowloon a bit, ride the Star Ferry, check out the Temple Street Night Market, Watch the Building Light Show, ride the long escalators around and get my BBQ duck.
.. Lan Tau is a nice break from the chaos but I love the food in Kowloon...roast pork on crispy noodles with sauce..
I'm going to HK in a few weeks. Staying at the ozo Wesley HK. It seems pretty nice for a little over $100/night. It's in Wan chai. Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
Hong Kong was always a good place to visit, so I was going to jump right in there. Then I remembered, that was way back, probably buried under a new layer by now.
Watched that several times already. Also watched the Getaway (w/ Aziz Ansari) touring Hong Kong (he did the exact same shit bourdain did), Samantha Brown and Bizarre Foods.

Looks good to me as long as the '????' is time set aside for hookers. I hear you can get them cheap over there ever since we started outsourcing our prostitutes.
