Simple question, does Melo get snubbed at the All Star game since he's losing 15 games before in the months of Jan. and December? I think there is a REAL big chance he does. Too many great players that deserve a spot as well in the West.

It's definitely a possibility with the forwards out west, there's no way he's getting voted in as a starter, that's for sure. It's a tough call.

Wow, good question. I forgot all about this. Unfortunately, I agree though, there's a very good possibilty. He's going to have to come back just as strong after the suspension to have a chance.

Well it might help that Yao is hurt.Duncan or Stoudamire might get in as a center (see Gasol last year), opening a spot for 'Melo. But it is a definite possibility that 'Melo gets left off.

I don't think he deserves too get snubbed again, but it is a possibility that it could happen.

I think this year Melo's gonna get on that team. Sure he's out for 15 game but he's a HUGE fan favorite not to mention he'll be seen alot more as there is alot more attention being put towards the Nuggets now that they have Iverson. However he's gonna have to fight to get in because the West could always play KG at SF.

After doing what he did and missing 15 games I'm not sure if he deserves it this year. There are many deserving forwards in the West. Amare is listed as a center but there are plenty of very good forwards that should be in there. Melo could get Odom's spot though since he's been injured.

I think he will, not just because of the suspension but because some coaches will look at his actions as childish and him as undeserving.

He does. 15 games suspended and with the other forwards in the West also doing well, hes not going to Vegas.

The suspension will hurt him. If he's back before the break and does well his chances will be better [I don't know when he gets to play again].

Also, I am pretty sure the fans only vote for All Star starters and the coaches vote for the bench so that doesn't really matter since I doubt he is a starter.

Right now.C - ??? It would be Yao, but he's hurt, so he probably won't play. Chances could be that Duncan moves to Center with Camby as the backup.F - KG and Dirk as the starters, but if Duncan goes in as a center, who else? 'Melo would be in the running for the 2 backup F spots with Boozer, Marion, Stoudamire, RandolphG - Kobe and AI might sneak in to the starters spot in the West. Backups?? Nash, D. Williams? With the injury to Yao, it actually opens things up because a PF can move to center.
