Plus there is a history of teams taking project big men early in drafts Kwame Brown, Andrew Bynum, Mouhamed Sene, Robert Swift, DeSagana Diop, Chris Wilcox, Nickoloz Tskitishvili, Andris Biedrins and of course Dwight Howard and Amare Stoudemire.

He does have good upside, but imo he needs to stay atleast one more year at Uconn to improve his chances of doing well in the NBA.

Memphis, Seattle, Portland, Sacramento, the Atlantic division (save Boston) are all teams that would be best served by starting over and all could use someone like Thabeet who would be a solid piece to build around for the future while not needing him to come in and produce immediately while they struggle w/ rebuilding.

He just doesn't seem to "want" it, and he doesn't want to be the main man at Duke. He needs to be their number one option, and he needs to get aggressive. He should be a solid player, but he could be much more..
