I don't know how in the hell he did the tricks and I can't find a message board that is discussing them.
I saw some of it, it was staged pretty good. Some of it was a little corny. If a person really knew the winners of the Kentucky Derby they wouldn't say anything and instead just bet a lot of money.
I just don't know how he he changed the card behind the glass or put the dollar in the package of Ramen. Unbelievable.
Also you know a lot of this was staged and the people were in on it, in this day and age if you saw someone doing magic tricks you'd whip out the smart phone and start taking vid so you could show your friends. No one had a phone in their hands.
A lot of them had phones. Phones were used for 3 of the tricks. Were people really in on the tricks? There's no other way to explain it.
I'm talking about the street tricks and the ramen trick, all of those college students and no one brought their phone out?
I love sleight of hand magic. Had a Canadian friend who was great at it..would never let me know how he pulled off amazing tricks right in front of me. He smoked and told me to close my fist tightly, held his cigarette over my wrist about 2 inches above it and said when I felt the warmth from the ember, open my fist..when I did my palm was filled with ash.
Not to break the code of magicians or anything but that one is easy, I do it at the bar. You can do it with a marker too. He nonchalantly grabbed your hand to show you what to do, and when he did, smeared ash from his finger on your palm, before you closed it.
Yeah, I watched it. Stuff was sick. The one where he's got the X jumping all over the card, or the Gronk phone, and especially the NPH bus trick. VERY well done.
I have been to the Magic Castle in LA three times. Every time my mind was blown. The Magic Castle is a small private club. You must have reservations to get in, made by a member. You sit at a family size table, eat a nice dinner while magicians perform slight of hand tricks. You are only a couple of feet away from the magicians, similar to how close you are from a blackjack dealer. I could not figure out how they did most of their tricks. Good times. Here is a link to the MC, if the opportunity ever knocks, do this place. http://www.magiccastle.com/clubhouse/
