For the 3rd time posey tryed taken out a bull playerwith deng having a open dunk he jumps with deng for no reason goes for his neck and throws him down.. where deng landed and his bad rist. Good thing he didnt get hurt... But now this is the 3rd time. In the playoffs he took kirk down with a shoulder tackle... Season opener breaks tyrus nose. now tryin to take deng down.....Then in the post game Pat riley says Kirk wanted 2 hurt wade.. saying kirk was holding his arm. and that kirk always does it.... If so refs would call a foul...... Heat really seem to hate the bulls
I love James Posey for a lot of reasons, but he IS a dirty player. I remember last year when he shoulder-plowed Hinrich, then what I saw last night with Deng was just uncalled for. He definitely does deserve some kind of suspension for this, a big fine at the very least. I'm just happy that Deng is OK, because he was taken down pretty hard. And about Hinrich hurting Wade, I saw that quote. GIVE ME A BREAK.
Posey is a bit of a prick and he tries to draw charges almost every play which annoys the hell out of me. Getting Deng like that was a real stupid move, if he injured him it woulda been bad. I'm a big Deng fan and he's on my fantasy team, he's been doing great and I've liked his game since his rookie year.
There is no place in the game for his antics on the court. He was clearly beaten and he just was being "Posey" and decided to inflict some unessesary pain on a nice kid in Luol Deng. After the game Deng said, "I hope the X rays are better than what I think they will be, I have been working hard all offseason to get this wrist back to normal and Posey goes out and does something stupid like this." I feel for Lu, he is my favorite player on the Bulls but also because he is an extremely hard worker and probably the quitest rising star in todays NBA if you think about it. 18 ppg 7 rpbg with a couple of steals and blocks to go with that.
