What a Sunday. The Jags, Bucs and Raiders win in big upsets, the Giants blow another one, the Eagles play one of the worst games ever and Tony Romo has his collarbone broken.

I have tried to cool down following another Giant give away loss.
They are not going to have a good year. Eli is fragile.....
bodily and brain wise. If they lose to Washington at home
this coming Thursday nite, they are done for any playoff hopes.

The Eagles look like such a disaster that Dallas probably still wins the division.

It is a terrible division. Cowgirls win with back up QB.
Eagles have no offense. Giants are mistake prone with
a give away O and a poor D. Redskins look to be the
    early steady team.

I think Dallas still wins it while getting their guys back late.

And to think he waited in the wings for Farve to leave.

...trying to remember who it was that tried to convince us that Eli was a better QB than Rodgers.

Honestly when he was drafted (Eli) I was hoping the Giants would have kept Rivers.

I'm glad they didn't keep Rivers as he's been rather mediocre IMO, but Eli's had little protection so no time to throw the ball... the decisions he's making these last couple of weeks though...

The Eli and Rivers conversation is now moot because of the two Super Bowl wins. It worked out but that being said Eli is no where near the Rodgers, Brady, Peyton and Brees conversation and never should've been.

No disagreement there... Just saying he was better than Rivers... and definitely not worth the money... but what was the alternative?

I know a lot of what happens in sports is based on at least a little luck & Eli has had his fair share of it. Hell just look at Tyree's catch where the ball practically stuck to his helmet in the final seconds of there SB win a few years back. I'm not saying Eli sucks, just saying he's over rated & certainly not worthy of his new contract. Rivers IMO has the better arm & probably could have been just as successful had he the teams Eli has had. Maybe even more so. JMO.

Eli seems to get to Brady on the big stage... seems to be the only one... aside from that, he very well could have had a better career in NY

Bradford sucks and if they don't make playoffs Kelly will be back coaching in college next season. Friggin suckball giants despite all their shortcomings should be 2-0 and with romo out, eagles ineptness and redskins being the redskins could have almost hard a stranglehold on the division.

I'm convinced he's been more lucky than good. That aside, he could
have been better had Giant management surrounded him with better talent......
especially on the offensive line and with a stop defensive unit.

You can't take Eli's playoff runs away from him. Especially 2011 where he put up four excellent games.
