Hey all, I had a question regarding prices for the suites at the Moda Center for Blazers games. Having a stupid little debate at work about it. A co-worker just told me that it costs around $5000 for 1 games which I could see. Then He tries to tell me that its costs $15,000 for an entire season. I immediately tell him there's no way it would cost the equivalent of 3 games to be able to go to 41 regular season games and he was saying he knows this for fact for various reasons which he told me... I think hes full of it, Does anyone know the actual price ranges for these things? I googled some but didn't get any full season answers.
Most of the time the suites hold 21. You have to buy all of the seats and have been around $65 per ticket. They run specials and some of the suites are rented out for the entire year. Guessing the price is about the same. They did open some bigger suites and have not priced them.
I think the people that have them for the entire season, are on a yearly or multi year contract, that includes all events (concerts, etc), and might come with a sponsorship agreement, or ad placement around the arena. I'm going to assume that they are in the 100k range at least.
You know, this raises a much more interesting question. If someone in this forum were to rent out a suite for a single game, what is a reasonable per person cost that forum members might be willing to pay to participate, and how many people would be interested in attending (and paying their part for the privilege, of course)? Just for kicks and giggles, I've submitted an inquiry with suitehop.com for a suite for Saturday 10/31 against Phoenix. I'll report back if I get a reply.
Wait for deals. They will run two games for one occasionally. Demand is going to be down this season. I would be interested but definitely not for Halloween.
The Halloween game would be almost $4400 (through the site from which I inquired). Basically $200/person. Probably a bit more than most in here would pony up.
I bet you would have better luck trying to buy a bunch of seats together. $200 isn't too terribly bad however I would not want to pay that much for a Halloween game vs PHX. The Spurs game on the other hand...
Yeah, but there's a certain level of cache generated by getting a suite instead of just a block of seats.
I might be able to swing a suite from the Blazers. We would need to pick a night they're ok with and enough people have to show.
I would go to the Halloween game and pay $200 for the suite if Wookee shaves his whole body and goes as Dwight Jaynes.
A small drop in prices for most sections. Maybe a break on the higher priced ones. They do not want to drop too much because it takes too long to correct. With flexible pricing, they can rely more on walk up sales instead of season ticket holders. Will see how bad this team is.
If we do suck this year, might be time for me To become a season ticket holder. How often do 300 level section tickets come available?
300 level seats are probably available right now. Might even be some perks if you became a season ticket holder now. With the annual discount for multiple year accounts getting in sooner is better. If not, make friends with someone that has.
