Barkley: "Oliver Miller would be an all-star in this league if he learned two words: I'm full."

Bennett's biggest problem, as far as league interest is concerned, is that he's played on two teams that no one watched. He looked much more explosive in the page 1 highlight video than all the accounts I've read have indicated. He actually seems very reminiscent to former teammate Tristan Thompson in that respect. TT was long considered a wasted draft pick until LeBron turned his career around.

If the Blazers were to play something when he scores it would be from Justin Bieber or Drake.

This project might take time away from some other projects that the fans want to see play. That's the problem.

So I guess the down side is
    A) He puts back on the weight and is useless to us.
    B) He takes minutes away from developing Vonleh
    C) The money we spend on him, which we need to do regardless to reach the minimum, could have been spent on another talent out there who may or may not be released by their current team.

None of those 3 scenarios is bad enough to out weigh the possibility of him working out for us. Or at the very least giving us an extra asset to trade next summer. This is pretty much a free asset.

In my Blazer fantasy world he is mobile enough to play SF. But that is a little too much to ask. None-the-less I am all for acquiring assets for........nothing. Worry about playing time next year. This year is all about rebuilding.

Let him clear waivers and offer him a 1yr 9M deal with year 2 and 3 non-guaranteed. No one can match that except PHI.

You know that the reason projects should play isn't because fans want to see them play, it's so that they'll develop faster, right?
