    Not much new, but accurate.

Pet Peeve. I get sooooo tired of people referring to Plumlee as an undersized center. Seriously?

Centers the exact same height (barefoot) as Plumlee
    Brook Lopez
    Tyler Zeller
    Willy Cauley-Stein
    Greg Oden

    Centers shorter than Plumlee
    Javale Magee
    Andrew Bogut
    Marcin Gortat
    Steven Adams
    Kelly Olynyk
    Robert Upshaw
    Joakim Noah
    Spencer Hawes
    Tiago Splitter
    Vucevic

When are these writers going to do their homework instead of regurgitating other writers misconceptions.

Good point. I just googled "Mason Plumlee" and under is name it says "6.10" power forward /center.

Then when I went to Draft express to look at his pre draft measurements...... they are a bit different. 6'11 1/4 in bare feet.
    7 1/2 with shoes.

I admit I thought he was a little undersized too. Plus his vertical leap will makes up for his average standing reach.

He looks 7-0 to me, but so did Mickey Rooney.

Plumlee has short arms relative to most basketball players. Most BB players wingspan is bigger than their height, but for Miles, it's the same. His standing reach is 9-0, compared to the Lopez brother's 9-5.

You see it in the NBA. 5-11 bodies with 1 foot heads on top. Plumlee has a tall thin head. His arms are just right for his 5-11 body.

2 heads for 2 guys 4 foot 6 each, melted in the factory into one, so they stuck it onto a 5-11 foot body and sold it to Lucky Louie's Discount Sport Equipment.

Just to clarify, Mason is a Blazer. Mason is taller than Miles. Mason has a shorter wingspan than his height (by an inch). Miles has a longer wingspan than his height. Mason has a 2.5" standing reach advantage over Miles.

When they say undersized I always assume they are talking about weight.

Then Shawn Bradley and Manute Bol were the most undersized centers ever.

Wait a minute. You mean Olshey got Mason, not Miles???!!!

This changes the team. I will have to reassess my 33-40 prediction.

    Okay, it's between 3 and 6 now.

I always like when a national writer talks Blazers and the forum tells me if he is qualified to do so after the fact.

The good thing about being undersized due to weight.....you can change that. But you can't get any taller.

Has he really not gotten any heavier since his pre draft weigh in? Hard to believe he is still 235. I would prefer he stays quick, but I think he can add another 15 to get up around 250 in the next two years.

Actually you can . . . sort of. This sumo wrestler didn't make the minimum height cutoff so he had silicon injected into his scalp to make him tall enough.

Probably doesn't help much in basketball though. :-)

Wait are we talking about girth or girth? Because one could be oversized and the other could be very undersized.

I'm pretty sure weight listings in the NBA are not usually very accurate.
