How about we do "Hot Takes". Two message board posters argue about a topic for up to 2 pages of content. That thread is locked, then the membership votes who won. Winner gets their name in gold on a week on the message board and the loser is banned forever.

Except for the banning part, it's a really good idea.

I like the forum to be more organized for content instead of what should be posts, becoming thread titles. Around the NBA is an example. Darkweb's gamethreads, all the regular stuff seem to streamline the content search a bit. I think Brian and BNB are really great writers here and well researched. I think Sly does a great job as the dog sniffing around the Blazers organization. There's just so much more material this season than I can remember in a long time.
Big Game Damian would be the only remaining forum member

I don't think the concept works without some kind of extreme punishment or ultimate surrender.

JD Skeets and Tas Melas did pretty well with a podcast and no access to organizations for a lot of years. I don't think that's a necessary element to a podcast at all..sometimes it can actually go against the format by regurgitating the team's media line to be accomodating

Flopping 101. Why it's always the referee's fault.

I just wish they wouldn't reward James Harden. Everyone and their mother knows he's going to flop. Everyone knows that his entire game is predicated on drawing fouls. If he wasn't a star, he wouldn't be getting those calls. Mostly I blame the league for creating this environment that they play in.

I hope you do this. I also hope you do an article on the incompetent job Scott Foster does game by game. You could call it..what would Dick Bavetta have done

Risky, but preferable to say......going out to sea with Marazul, who claims he's been unable to be gay for 40 years now. To me, that just means he's due.

It's not the league it's the out of position referees. Plain and simple. NBA referees are CONSISTENTLY out of position and do not hustle. They also regularly call outside of their primary area of responsibility. Because of this flops are regularly called.

Who has that Double flop by Harden/Chris Paul? I can't find the video.
