He'll only have to play PG for 10 minutes a game, he's definitely competent enough to do that.

Yes but it's trying to make a square into a circle or however you say it. I think a much better option would be to use a Dame/CJ/Frazier rotation at guard for most of the game. I think any combo between them works better than CJ at PG

I watched every SL game and I really wasn't impressed with him. In terms of pass-first point guards I would rate Sergio above him. I actually would like to get Sergio back on the team. He'd be awesome with this roster.

Serg was on the court in crunch time this summer for Spain. He looked damn good. But I always liked him.

So you're going to relegate Henderson - a bona fide starter - to DNP-CD while a NBADL player plays ahead of him? Not to mention Crabbe, who is also clearly ahead of Frazier in the pecking order.

Couple things about Frazier..it's great to have a pt guard who is fast and pass first...it's not great to have a short pt guard who can't shoot, defend and is a turnover machine. CJ is going to be our 2nd pt guard..Montero is going to be way better at defense than Frazier or Pressy

There are 3 major points I would like to Bring up

#1 We aren't good so whoever #15 is doesn't matter.
#2 We aren't good so whoever #15 is doesn't matter.
#3 We aren't good so whoever #15 is doesn't matter.

Frazier could develop into a backup Caliber player. Pressey looks like he is kind of more a career third stringer due to height, he is shorter than Frazier. Now since the 15th guy doesn't matter, isn't it better to go for a guy that is 2 years younger 8 inches taller and has untapped talent compared to a short 4 year college player, who probably is much more of a what you see is what you get. On top of that Alexander is a simplar risk that Bennett was, had a lot of hype and talent, but kinda failed miserably at the level he went to. The bottom line is both Montero and Alexander have the tools to be more than Pressey, and frankly as I mentioned it doesn't matter this year anyway, swing big and miss, maybe you get a ground rule double, maybe a home run. Pressey is more like just taking a pitch.

Don't get carried away. Montero, Frazier, Alexander, and Pressey were passed over 60 times in the draft. GMs didn't think much of the great potential you guys see in Alexander and Montero.

Meanwhile, Frazier and Pressey, though low potential, are polished and developed. It's Tank vs. Try To Win. Blazer4Ever is being reasonable, for trying to win.

Let's say you take a test and only half-way complete it before the teacher takes the test away from you. Judging on the part of the test completed you are the best student in the class. But accounting for the fact that the other students in the class were allowed to finish the test and the total test is what seems to count, you are now judged a miserable failure in comparison to classmates.

How is this remotely even relevant? Maybe I missed the Memo? Are cuts being made today?

Guys, Pressey is an actual NBA player... not a great one but he has played in 125 games through two seasons. Tim Frazier? 11.

"Is going to be" is a key concept in this discussion. It's not about today it's about the future. I'd keep Montero over both Pressy and Frazier.

Wait: Isn't this the Miller thread?
