staal, has puck stolen away, and goal scored against within 15 seconds, how many years this guy in league, get puck let it go, you can't receive puck, and wind up thinking you have all the time in the world for a slapper , wrist it!!!!!!!!

Boyle look terrible across the board. i have a feeling hes going to pull a st. louis and be mediocre most of the year then just spiral off the cliff.

Staal had ankle surgery on a hairline fracture right when the playoffs ended.

NY Post: Staal had been playing with the hairline fracture in his ankle since March 21, when he blocked a shot against the Hurricanes. He was given two games off at the end of the regular season, but the 28-year-old played the final two-plus months with an ankle that he wouldn’t let heal.

    "He still sucks."

    There, beat you to it.

i will support staal as long as he wears the ranger sweater, and i will point out when he plays well, BUT , when he makes a mistake, which all players do, to me his are more obvious, and usually results in a goal against pretty dam quick as the 1 last nite...

    go rangers

I can understand pointing out mistakes but I respect Staal more now knowing he did that for the team. For as much as people sometimes get on Staal and Girardi they're work horses who wear themselves out for this team.
