    Yeah, agree. also he was wearing body armor too. Most CHL owners would shoot for the body; well hell so do Police, so that would have not gone over too well.

    I am just scared about what might happen. The Westboro Baptist Church is planning a protest during the funerals. I know my hometown, and this is not going to end well. I hope things remain peaceful, but I have my doubts. There is definitely a threat of violence. It might not end well for anybody.

    I am not certain what they are up to, but the wbc had already stated that they are showing up. They will probably show up with their classic"God hates fags" signs. Things are not going to end well.

    I agree. But I know my home town, and they will not be ignored. I would personally choose to ignore them. But they are setting themselves up for a blood bath. People don't fuck around down there.

    Every school (Head Start-College) should have (at least) two police officers assigned to it at all times IMHO. It may not be much but it's something and it could help avoid these tragedies.

    I'm hoping the counter protests are peaceful. I have friends and family that are trying to organize this. But, there are going to be armed groups of biker gangs that will also show up. They can't really be controlled.

    These are them.

    Besides drawing royalties from the Quentin Tarantino movie that may be inspired by the outcome of their poorly divined visit to SW Oregon, I see no positives for them here.

    Besides the locals, SW Oregon is "governed" by some very large biker gangs who don't appreciate this sort of rudeness.

    Maris nailed this one. This is not going to end well. I lived in the Roseburg area for 24 years. And went to college at ucc. There are some tough mother fuckers down there. Shit is going to go down if wbc shows up.
