Re: Now it's time to worry We have been playing sub-par teams so far since the suspensions. We played Sacramento, Boston without Pierce, and Seattle without Ray Allen and Rashard Lewis. Our team is absolutely horrible right now.We have New Orleans, Dallas, Utah, San Antonio, Houston, and the Lakers coming up on our schedule. Things could get ugly considering how short handed our roster is.
Re: Now it's time to worry Dont worry, I dont think any team in the NBA can survive that schedule without losing a few. I finally got to see AI play tonight, 44 points 10 assists, amazing. Wish the Bulls would have traded for him.
Re: Now it's time to worry I said right after the suspensions came down that I would be happy if the Nuggets went 8-7 or 7-8 after the 15 games. Right now they are 3-1.The Nuggets get a few breaks along the way. They get the Hornets minus Paul and the Rockets minus Yao.But they need to get Camby back and Nene needs to play too.
Re: Now it's time to worry We lost to the Hornets without Chris Paul, Peja Stojakovic, Bobby Jackson, and David West, ugh....
Re: Now it's time to worry It doesn't matter if you guys lose now. Iverson has been amazing and once you guys have your full roster back you will get to a decent seed by the end of the season and be a very dangerous team in the playoffs. I hope the Suns get a top 2 seed so they don't have to play against you guys.

The historic winning percentage on the road for such games is in the .350 range. It wasn't unexpected, especially considering the Nuggets were only 8 deep and had Camby, Nene, Smith, 'Melo out. Plus Martin. . . The Nuggets were in it till the last 2 minutes or so. Its not time to panic. Just be patient.
Re: Now it's time to worry Now last nights game was a game the Nuggets should have won.At home, vs. Dallas without Dirk, Dallas playing the back end of the back-to-back.Diawara needs to be better then 1 point in 39 minutes on 0-11 shooting. Please. I like the guy, but 0-11?
Re: Now it's time to worry You know what... I'm pretty happy despite the fact that the Nuggets lost the game. They are missing a lot of players (even with Camby's return) and yet still should have won the game against a very deep Dallas team. AI with another great performance (near triple-double) but I'd like to see him cut down on the turnovers. I haven't watched any of his games other than the Seattle one, but I'm guessing his turnovers are moreso a result of the up-tempo system and subpar supporting cast (no knock against those guys, but they are no 'Melo or JR) than a product of bad decision making.I can't wait till Denver is at full strength... damn that brawl!

I don't know how many there were exactly and how many on Iverson, but I'm pretty sure Devin Harris and Josh Howard had 3 a piece at least... I'm sure at least a couple of them were on AI.
Re: Now it's time to worry Another bad loss is coming. I was okay with the first one against the Hornets, but against Dallas - as mentioned above - and now against Philly (or soon to be loss).Please. . . The other guys need to step up big time and they are not.

No way was I givin up Gordon 1st rounder and any other youngs for him...But dont worry. When you guys get melo and JR back you will be a good team again
Re: Now it's time to worry I agree with you Ender. I'm getting pretty annoyed with the way the other guys on the team are playing. This was another tough loss, I can't wait until we get Carmelo back.
Re: Now it's time to worry lol I'd be panicking. If you can't do jack with 1 supershithead then you won't do anything with 2.
Re: Now it's time to worry Honestly, none of these losses are bothering me once I take a look at the players around Iverson. Most of them are defensive specialists or hustle/energy players... nobody who can help out consistently on offense (other than Boykins, but he is rather streaky).Once Smith returns in a few games, I think the Nuggets will have a easier time... and then we'll finally get to see a little preview of how they will play once Carmelo returns as well.

We have been playing with an 8 man roster, Not one player other than Iverson and Boykins have an offensive game to save their life. We are playing without Carmelo Anthony, JR Smith, Nen?, and Marcus Camby.I would like to see any NBA team lose 3 starters and their best big off the bench and still win ball games.
Re: Now it's time to worry Finally hell ends... I think the pressure of realizing there's not many scorers around got to AI. But Boykins is loving it because he's not used to having the team to rely on him to win. Now that we do he relishes the challenge but once everybody's back, I think Boykins' effectiveness will be down... by a lot (and finally he can be traded). And J.R.'s coming back next game and I'll be watching it woooo :winkglasses:
