Okay, I have been comparing Gordon and Arenas for few months now and every time I see Gordon, he really reminds me of Arenas. Both are really good scorers - Arenas is a BIG time scorer right now but he was like same as Gordon in his first 3 years - same as Gordon's first 3 years. The difference is that 3rd year, he got a BIG Contract by Wizards and they handed him the team and his stock rose since then. Here are their stats in their 3rd year in the league: Arenas: 37.6mpg 19.6ppg 39% fg 37.5% 3-pt 75% FT 4.6rpg 5.0apg 4.11 TO Gordon: 29.2mpg 20.1ppg 44% fg 35.5% 3-pt 88% FT 2.6rpg 3.0apg 2.9 TO See the resemblence??? I think Gordon can be as good as Arenas - the only 2 things that are holding him back are 1- he needs to learn to handle the ball better and 2- Skiles (not playing him 35mpg). the way Gordon draws the attention, I can say Gordon can easily average 5 or 6 apg if he plays 37 mpg and has the ball most of the time in his hands like Arenas. agree? Not Remember I have posted about Gilberts 1st 3 years not the gilbert now.......... Maybe Gordon can up his game and become as good..
no .. I put in the title I got it from a realgm poster. forgot his name I didnt go backto look... But I wanted to see what other peoplethought
I mean he could you never know many people diden't think Gilbert would be the way he is now, so people shoulden't think that there is no way Gordon can become like him, I don't think Gordon is going to be that player in chi town though I see him going to another team.
Maybe if we get a different coach... But Gilbert was getting 10 more min and gordon is scoring more.... I want gordon to stay cause I know we are gonna end up getting a good big man that will get doubled and make things easyer for him
I'm sure there are plenty that RESEMBLE Arenas's numbers, but who's to say b/c they did what he did in a certain of his career that they will be as good.
