Terrorists can sneak into the country besides just getting on an airplane. And what do IDs have to with anything? Asking for an ID would mean some sort of a background check.

How will the person know if it's valid? You know that kids can buy fake IDs over the internet. You don't think a criminal, terrorist or illegal immigrant could? What's to say the gun seller is even ethical? Give the guy a couple of hundred bucks to say he saw an ID would circumnavigate that requirement.

unfortunately, there isn't a single solution to the rage...it starts with education and parenting, move on from there but it shouldn't be as easy as it is to obtain assault weapons and tons of ammo without some restrictions ..you have your handgun with your permit but spare me the bazooka in your basement
