How much does it usually cost for web browsing on a phone? Im thinking of getting a phone that is capable, but how much does it cost for the service and is it worth it?

Well I think web browsing on a cell is pretty useless. It normally goes at the speed of <strike>light</strike> dial-up and charges are pretty high.

Verizon is $45 a month I believe for unlimited data, but that includes unlimited texting too. I only pay $20 a month with T-Mobile for unlimited text messaging, instant messaging, e-mail and web browsing, but after the cost of the phone it isn't that great of a deal.

I have Sprint. Unlimited internet browsing is $15 a month. That $15 a month also includes unlimited text message and picture mail. I think its a pretty good deal

I've had the same plan for more than a year and a half. Im sure they might have something different now. But everytime I get my bill it shows all the call stuff, then the very last one it shows Unlimited Internet/Text..........$15.00

Well they charge $60 a month for unlimited data using their mobile card, which obviously has lot more functionality than a standard cell phone, but still I doubt it would be 4 times the price of what they charge for a cell phone. They charge $39.99 for 40MB, I easily use 100MB a month with my Sidekick.

who cares how it looks, just as long as the minutes/texting and stuff fits what you do. I get unlimited internet, and I'm not sure how many texts I get, but I think it's unlimited. I hope it is, or I'm in trouble. [IMG]

JustBlaze, you have unlimited texting with Verizon? How did you get that? When I went in, they said the most texting I could have to non-verizon users was 4000, which is not enough for me...

Their unlimited data plan (which includes unlimited texting) is $45, but I'm not sure if it's exactly unlimited, because from what I've heard everything is limited, although at pretty high figures.
