Well, then let's just forget about them. Obviously they aren't worth discussing.

If you want to prevent them, you're better off looking at Asperger's and Violence rather than gun control laws.

Because we're talking about several different issues in this thread.

    1. Mass shootings- is gun control the answer: NO, its a mental health issue.
    2. Gun violence in America being out of control- is gun control the answer: NO, look at races and ethnicities
    3. Gun violence in America vs. the World- Again, look at the races and ethnicities to see patterns, not the gun laws.

We know what the problem is, obviously the shooters are loose in the head.

That doesn't tell us what the answer is, nor does it rule out gun control as an answer or a partial answer.

It's not enough to say 'well, it's mental health'. That doesn't solve the problem.

When 99% of the focus is on gun control rather than looking at mental health issues (which is almost purposefully ignored), then that definitely doesn't solve the problem.

What would you like to do about mental health? How would President El Presidente go about solving this problem?

Advocacy programs about the potential negative tendencies of people with Aspergers would be a start. That's if you want to bring more awareness to these types of shooters and anti-social behavior. Face it, a lot of these problems are the fault of the parents who are in denial and feel that their kids are "normal" when they have huge issues controlling their emotions. Its an issue of complete and total neglect.

In today's world, there is a huge movement to treat people with Autism with white gloves. A lot of them have serious mental issues and rage/control problems which should be recognized, diagnosed and treated.

What you're proposing is crazy. Pin intended. I'll take the Kennedy solution that was never funded.

Human behavior is predictable in the absence of mental illness. People are conditioned by their surroundings, the culture they grew up around and their racial and ethnic background. Sure, there are small variations but its possible to make very broad statements and have them be fairly accurate.

So now you're going to just make shit up as you go along? There has never been any correlation with Aspergers, autism, and violence. Most mentally ill people are the victims of violence.

There is no correlation because society CHOOSES to ignore it.

With these mass shootings involving young males, many of them who are in the news have Aspergers.
    Roseburg shooter
    Elliot Rogers.
    James Holmes.
Suing Hui Choi (VA Tech Shooter)

And god knows who else. Many may not even have been diagnosed.

    Columbine is 87% white.

Census figures count all latinos and hispanics and caucasians together as "White alone", which is a lie and a racist slur.

Then at the bottom they show caucasians by themselves in a group labelled "White alone", not Hispanic or Latino.

Odd that asians aren't called yellows and hispanics browns and indians reds, but it's okay to call me "a white" while throwing all the browns and some blacks into the "White alone" group.

This deceptive and purposely misleading language is employed to hide the illegal hispanic population.
