They should teach or go online and get a masters in library science and work in a library..you have a degree you don't have to slice cheese, maybe they just like slicing cheese
Actually they should start their own copywriting or ghostwriting services. Teaching is teaching, its not writing...its a whole 'nother career. What the fuck is a library, bro?
yeah, its a place for parents working to let their kids chill in for a few hours as free babysitting and for homeless dudes to jerk off to porn ont he computers.
How much funemployment do you get nowadays? I'm thinking I might lose my job sometime maybe soon, kinda want to fuck around for a while. Walk the earth.
My son is going to apply for a better job come New Year and we might travel for 6 weeks over Chinese New Year between his jobs.
The prospect of work terrifies me. Just the whole shit of having to kiss ass, schmooz, watch what you say, just not my thing bro. need to find internet millionz
Maybe you and Brainiac could open some type of firm together and have TLC air a reality show of the two of you.
My wife and I got laid off together 14 years ago. We got govt grants to go to school. We talked about what careers we could do that wouldnbe stable for the next 30 years. Basically we talked about if they could outsource our jobs. We decided on her being a hairdresser and me doing bodywork. I could have been a pharmacy tech or something else monumentally boring. This shit is hard work, but with her becoming a general manager over 8 hair salons and me working my ass off we can hit mid 100g's pretty much every year. We don't have kids so that helps. Vegas cost of living is low too. However, we made the mistake of going to Winco mid afternoon last Sunday. We generally go early in the morning when people that work for a living are the only ones up. I fucking hate it when that happens. I ask myself why I have to work so fucking hard only to watch people who don't work buy frozen burritos and pizza and chips. Then we go get in our 2010 Honda Civic, a car which is worse than 80 percent of the cars in the lot on welfare weekend. It's so irritating.
Dude.....I'm demoting you to El Vice Presidente. Libraries, at least in the Portland metro area are still the best bang for your tax dollar there is. As Riverman said, they serve many functions and are an amazing community resource if properly operated and/or used by the motivated. God bless my mother for making my siblings and I huge library fans a very young age. And full disclosure, my wife is a librarian. God really does love me
man, working is for chumps. I mean, if you are in some chillaxed drink all day Mad Men type job thats cool, or else just soak someone with a trust fund, or swipe dat EBT son. Everyone hating on the welfare peeps are just jealous because their own supposed morals stop them from riding that salsa train to burritosville. If you aren't taking advantage of the system, then that shiz is taking advantage of you.
Had to google that. You missed another key issue facing people in their 20's today: their level of self-entitlement. At my last job, I interviewed every new potential candidate. I cannot tell you how many kids coming right out of college expected this, that, and the other. They didn't want to work for shit. I understand more and more why companies start with interns and temps-to-hire. Let them show you what they have, how hard they're going to work, before making a long-term commitment. I had family/friends that expected jobs just because they had a degree. You gotta earn that employee and that chedda, son. They don't call it "earnings" for nothing.
