    Wizards Keys To Victory

Wizards need to come out and focus on a couple of certain areas if they want to succeed. First of all rebounding is very important, we know Howard can grab boards with ease and the Wizards need to grab every single board they can. Secondly Wizards NEED TO guard the three point shot. Wizards are last in the league in gaurding the three pointer and the Magic are filled with players who can shoot from down town. This off season we focused on expanding our bench however with injuries occuring our bench production has fallen greatly. Magic only average 92.7 PPG, Wizards need to make them run if they want to win.

    Closing/Predictions
Washington is on a winning streak (4 straight) while the magic are on a losing spree. I think Washington will pull away with the win and take control of the division.

    Washington: 108
    Magic: 105

    Arenas goes for 37. :dribble:

We need to keep Howard in check like we did the last game holding to 2-6 shooting for 7 points. What killed us that game was defending the perimeter as Hedo Turkoglu started out the game hitting 4 three pointers. Then later in the game, Arroyo came off the bench and scored 28 points with 3 three pointers of his own. Lucky for them, Arenas was struggling with 6-20 shooting as he had struggles with road games in the beginning of the season, but now, there's no such thing as Road or Home games as he drops at least 40 every night. Orlando has been struggling lately with the bad coaching, so I think we should win this one.BTW, GArenas, do you like Haywood at all?

I used to dislike Haywood and I liked the change when Etan started to start, but now that he's starting again with Etan out, he's playing with passion and I like that, I hope he keeps it up. The quote is what Gil calls him.

And if Haywood keeps up the way he's playing, I'm sure he'll get back the starting position. Gil dropped 36, your predictions were close. Another W for us. I just hope Haywood's injury is not anywhere near serious. He limped on the court when he came back, hopefully it's not worse than we thought.I'm new BTW. :/

Welcome Ultimate, nice to get more wiz fans. :winkglasses:

What a thriller 112-111 Wiz win. Gil drops 36 points, Caron should be beating himself up for beathing those freethrows though. Haywoods injury doesn't seem so bad. (pray)

Lets hope Haywood's injury isn't serious..he's been playing pretty great these past couple of games with some double doubles. I'm just glad we have the division lead now, wrapping up a nice win!

Haywood's injury wasn't bad whatsoever. He came back after 3-4 minutes of sitting out. Anyway, the Wizards turned this game closer than it should've been. We really need to start hitting our free-throws in the 4th quarter if we want to secure our win, because we should've had a 5-7 point lead going into that last minute, but good win nonetheless.BTW, we're only 1.5 games from first place in the East. :winkglasses:

It can be worse than you think. As I've stated before, he was limping a little bit when he got back in the game.

It was one of those "half rolls" where he started to roll it, realized it and reflexed the other way. I mean, that reflex could've saved him a month on the shelf, but good thing that didn't happen. One thing's for sure, he was definitely tentative and bolted to the floor when he came back in.

With this game, Gilbert just tied Iverson as the 2nd highest PPG totals in the NBA behind the inactive Carmelo Anthony. Hopefully Bert keeps it up, with Melo and Iverson sharing the ball, Bert could be the scoring champ this year

I've looked and can't find it.
