Many hockey prognosticators rate Blue Jackets very high, up there with the Capitals. Whatever. We know these ratings are meaningless. This game is a tough test for Rangers. Second year in a row we are Columbus' home opener opponent. They drubbed us 5-2 last year. Let's hope this year is a better result.
Same lineup as last game. Thinking we'll see big mac tmo at the garden as don't think AV lets boyle play too many back to back games if any. Imo this game has a lot more scrums and after whistle garbage than blackhawk game.
I also think Columbus will be really good forward wise this year. Their defenseman core pretty much sucks.
I think this was the perfect game for Dylan to play. Columbus likes taking runs at our stars, they've done it for the past two seasons. Having Dylan out there would stop that I think. Hopefully we won't regret that he's not playing.
This pp is ridiculously bad. Still stick by my Scott arniel should be fired statement from last year. They should try and get Adam oats who is a pp wizard Sent from my VS980 4G using Tapatalk
Dylan 100% should be in the lineup tomorrow night and his job should be to reintroduce Dubi's face to the MSG ice, via a nice beating. All these late questionable hits would not be happening if he was out there. We still suck on faceoffs so far and this PP is STILL USELESS. How did Arneil not get fired last offseason is beyond me.
I doubt anything changes because of dylan, in fact they will up it even more to make the rookie take a simb penalty. Sent from my SM-G920P using Tapatalk
hahaha bunch of bullies on ice, and you're down 1zip, great concept, go around the ice and hit defenseless players and don't worry bout scorin goals... dumazzez
I disagree. If anything, Dylan would know not to take a stupid penalty because his leash would be extremely short and if he messed up he'd be benched. He would be out there to defend our guys when they have cheap shots taken at them however. He's a deterrent. If he was going to take dumb penalties we would have seen more of it during the preseason. He showed maturity by not taking dumb penalties, and I'd like to think that would continue. Hell, Boyle is going to take a bunch of penalties because he's too slow and will need to take interference penalties to nullify his screw ups. So it's 6 of one, half a dozen of another when you look at those two in regards to penalties.
