I enjoy playing some Living Card Games (not Magic The Gathering, but others like Netrunner/A Game of Thrones). Anyway, there is this one thread that has gone viral in the LCG community. Link TLDR Cliff Notes There is an LCG game with the official US National Tournament and the game is being videotaped. Apparently a month later, a viewer of the video catches some sleight of hand involving the winner of the tournament. He was supposed to be drawing 2 cards and was drawing 3 cards during a phase of the game. He did it multiple times except when the win was essentially in hand. The whistleblower posts the youtube on the forum for the game and publicly calls out cheater. Here is what happens: The community is in an uproar. The Cheater (NewWorldSympathy1898) creates a Sock Puppet Account (Williamsg1982) to try to call off the pitchforks and suggest that maybe it was a mistake and not intentional cheating. Then after feeling that the mob has been somewhat quelled, The Cheater shows up. The Cheater apologizes, claiming it was a mistake, and offers to return all of his prizes. Sock Puppet Account supports The Cheater The Cheater forgets to log out of Sock Puppet Account and posts as The Cheater The Sock Puppet Account tries to misdirect The Cheater screws up again and tries to deflect Hilarity ensues
