Is it just me, or are people putting up 50 point games like it's nothing recently?

looks like okafor is starting to come back like his rookie season. with MR double double. To me he seems like a good defender and the offense comes to him and his big body helps him get the rebounds too looks like well looking at 2 new dominant centers in the league soon. Okafor and Howard. But then last season was like that too everyone scored alot of 50 and it didnt seem like anything now

Yeah I think Okafor is often overlooked, he's one of the best defensive big men in the league, and he's an excellent rebounder and good scorer also.

He got fouled out and Phil Jackson was kicked out of the game. The Bobcats players stepped up and took advantage of Kobe in foul trouble.

Okafor with 22 points and 25 rebounds. Who drafted him in the sim league? I'm impressed. But Dwight Howard still beat him to the 20/20.

Yeah, 50 point games are way more common now. I remember a few years ago being like "OMG TIM DUNCAN GOT FIFTY TWO ITS AMAZING" and now it's barely thread worthy when somebody breaks the half century markBTW - when was the last time somebody took 45 shots and was below .500 from the field?

Uh, 58 IN TRIPLE OVERTIME. At least half a dozen players could do that too.

He had one technical in the first half, that was it. Did you watch the game?

I listened to the whole game on the radio because the game on tv was on tape delay meaning it was an hour and a half behind...there were aot of questionable calls throughout the game but the reason we lost was because of turnovers. Kobe played brilliantly and put on a show for his fans in Charlotte. The Bobcats had a record set for attendance tonight. It seemed like everyone there was a Kobe Fan....that was nice to see. Smush Parker also played a nice game but it seemed like nobody else could come through. Walton played decent but nothing special and Kobe made some big shots down the stretch but he fouled out eventually... :no1: Tough loss on this road trip..we went 6-7 for this road trip....We need Lamar back! Pronto!

Many people have said that the most impressive thing about kobe's 81 is that he had enough stamina to take 46 shots. It isn't as if kobe just runs and jack. The man creates the offense by dribbling, faking, driving etc.Anyways, I was out so I didn't see the same. First laker game I missed this season. By reading lg and cl, I understand thata) we played kobe offenseb) Kwame suckedc) Got killed by high pick and roll

Kobe was streaky down the stretch. He'd make 3 then miss 3. He missed a shot to win it in regulation but then made a contested 28 footer to tie it up with 20 seconds left in 2OT. Kwame was horrendous. His play in the overtime periods is the main factor as to why the Lakers lost. Every time down the stretech on a pick and roll he'd come sprinting up to the guard and let Emeka get an open dunk. But he wasn't even the worst Laker last night. I'd give that honor to Vlad Rad. He was just terrible. He was taking bad shots, his defense was much worse than usual, he was turning (or close to) the ball over everytime he wasn't taking a bad shot. It was just a terrible game for Kwame and him. And Adam Morrison. He was like 1/15, it was ridiculous.

It was really just weird. It was so much like Ronny and Sasha were bickering kids and Kobe was the dad trying to get them to shut up. It was pretty funny. Turiaf was pissed because Sasha let his man get right around him and Ronny had to rotate over and picked up his 3rd foul.
