I don't think anyone picked the Warriors to be #1 last year. Let's see what happens this year. Mine:

    1. Warriors
    2. Trail Blazers
    3. Thunder
    4. Pelicans
    5. Clippers
    6. Grizzlies
    7. Rockets
    8. Timberwolves
    ************
    9. Jazz
    10. Spurs
    11. Kings
    12. Mavericks
    13. Lakers
    14. Nuggets
    15. Suns

    What are yours?

    1 Clippers
    2 Thunder
    3 Warriors
    4 Rockets
    5 Spurs
    6 Grizz
    7 Pels
    8 Jazz

    9 Suns
    10 Blazers
    11 Kings
    12 Mavs
    13 Tpups
    14 Lakers
    15 Nuggets

Clippers have been elite last few years with horrific benches. Pierce, Lance and Josh Smith will be big upgrades. Thunder will be a top team if Durant is healthy; a real concern but they have solid role players and awesome bigs. Rockets will be good with Lawson, Howard, Harden trio. Spurs will disappoint; Aldridge isn't a transcendent star and the old guys will rest a lot this regular season. They'll still be a tough playoff out. Pelicans will be in playoffs unless Davis is hurt; a legit concern. He might be the favorite for MVP but the rest of the roster is below average.

Overall those are the clear top 7 teams but its very plausible one or two have major injuries similar to OKC last year. If Durant, Kawhi, Davis, or Curry are out most the season I could see even the playoff hopefuls including us finishing ahead of those decimated squads. The Jazz, Suns, us and Kings are interesting squads that all have some warts but intriguing upside. I could see any of them as an 8th seed; although I like the other teams chances a bit more than us.

Dallas is not deep enough with too many old or injured players. The Nuggets will be horrific; I like Mudiay long term but he and Galinari are their two best players and that will not work this year. The Lakers are a joke and I'll enjoy every loss.

False, somebody did have the warriors first. It was either @Rastapopoulos or @yuyuza1

    Surprisingly good teams:
    Denver, Sacramento

    Surprisingly bad:
    Golden State, Dallas

    Predictably (and satisfyingly) awful:
Lakers (at least until Kobe's season-ending injury, when they'll pull together and be surprisingly good)

If somehow everything goes our way and we get the 8th seed I'd love to see a matchup with San Antonio. I think Aldridge might choke under the expectations while our team plays free and loose. Kawhi still likely gets them the win but it would be interesting.

+> I would pick Blazers at 8 spot and TWolves at 11 with the remaining order intact.
