How do you manage and what are your limits? We're talking flying, cliffs, mountains. When do your palms start to sweat?
Yes, but a bigger fear I have is dropping the soap in a shower with a bunch of dudes. Have you ever done that bgd?
I've bungee jumped, skydived, jumped off a cliff side and a bridge. Not scared but have a very healthy respect for heights.
Yes I am fucking terrified of heights. For some reason its not all heights though, if I am in a building or otherwise feel secure then Im not scared. Its the being on a balcony or by the edge or that kind of thing that gets me. I deal with it by challenging my fear, Ive been bungie jumping twice, hang gliding once, cliff jumped, jumped off the lyle bridge (like a dipshit), hiked some relatively scary trails. Never been sky diving though, but not because I dont want to. Flying gives me anxiety as well but its more claustrophobia than fear of heights. Im a mess lol. The trick is really to challenge any fear you have, no matter what it is. If you cater to that fear then your mind will view that as justification to have that fear, then you will require more steps or "things to go right" for you to have a good experience with the activity of your fear. Xanax helps also.
as a kid while in the service, I used to walk across bridges on the hand rail, jump out of choppers, climb rock faces and repel down..now I am with Fez..I am uneasy crossing a bridge in a car and will not even dare to challenge myself to lean over a railing
