    I'm pretty sure it was a joke or troll attempt that got out of hand. But no doubt there are some bigots who actually feel that way.

    Apparently some site wrote an article about the hashtag when there were only three people using it. I also saw that it started as a 4chan post.

    Yeah, I heard this was just a troll move from trolls like that to bait the shitty liberal clickbait sites like Salon and they bought it hook, like, and sinker, kind of like that pee your pants for feminism or w/e it was.
