CJ is an All Star caliber talent. (I'd take him over Klay). I guess I could part with Meyers for PG13. Maybe give them Cliff Alexander and Hendo?
They want PG13 to be PF13 and he's not interested so let's give them a real PF, and we'll take PG13 off of them.
BGB or whatever his name is, "HEARD" this huh? 26 comments on a topic this guys secret unicorn friend told him in his mom's basement? Denny what has happened to this place? God it's good to be back!
No way this is going to happen, but I guess we can always dream. With Paul George only being 25 years old, he'd be a perfect fit next to Lillard. What would Indy want? Probably more than the Blazers could offer. They'll want a few draft picks. We don't have a first rounder to give away for a few years with ours being tied up with Denver (thanks Afflalo!). Indy is light on Bigs, so they'll want at least one of our young Bigs. They would also probably be looking for additional young wing help considering they're sending out George. http://espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=q3souag With this trade the Blazers would also be absorbing $7M of salary. Not that Indy needs much CAP room. They're only $2M over the CAP. I'd hate to see some of these guys go, but betting on George over potential is a safe bet.
Here's a discussion from August 26th, 2015 where a Suns site discusses potential trade options for George: http://www.brightsideofthesun.com/2...ieff-Morris-Pacers-Paul-George-trade-scenario And here's a responding article from a Pacers site, essentially laughing off the idea of trading George: http://hoopshabit.com/2015/08/28/indiana-pacers-responding-paul-george-trade-idea/
They're in an awkward spot... Kinda like us in 12-13. Fun fact, the Pacers have three players will "Hill" as their last name lol
No way Indy trades George. Dude's only 25, they have plenty of time to rebuild/retool around him. They wouldn't trade him unless they get an all-star or at the least a top 5 pick. We'd have a better chance of getting Kevin Durant through free agency next year.
Video was from USA practice back when Dame tried to make the roster during the summer. What do you expect PG to say to Casey about him, not saying he wasn't being truthful. But it's not like he came out and was like "This Dame dude can ball". That being said I agree and would also welcome PG here in Rip City. I'm just not sure how you make that happen... At least not any time soon. He's the cornerstone there in Indy and I think the only way he goes anywhere is the off chance Indiana is dumb enough to move him should he not be where he was pre injury within a year or two. He's seemed pretty good so far so I think that is a moot point.
Indy already blew it up by getting rid of Hibbert and failing to keep West. My theory is that they are tanking this year by playing George at PF and everyone small.
Given the opportunity, I certainly would. That European Dragon Bender may well turn out to be a hall-of-fame player, but I'd jump at the chance to pair Dame and George for the next 10 years.
