"Now they have no battle with who's the face of the team."

    -Next paragraph-

"They still wanted me to be the focal point"

Seems like that battle was only with yourself you dumb fuck.

We got the guy who didn't think opt out clauses were a sign of commitment..LA has commitment issues. Dame is nothing like Lamarcus

Also funny how he denies jealousy about dame being marketed by saying "if I had an issue with that why would I go to San Antonio, they don't market anybody"

Those rumors Quick wrote about LA not caring or having a desire to be marketed, while at the same time still being jealous of someone who did don't look so crazy now. Well they do...but ya know

It was pretty obvious LA was never mentally tough and felt slighted at the smallest things. Now it seems like all the rediculous rumors about his indecisions and slights all have a lot of truth to them.
this is almost like everyone always telling you your significant other is wierd and bipolar drunk but since your always drunk you never notice until that one time your sober and they are wasted. Its the glass shattering effect.

I got so mad at Parsons getting that tipin when Howard pretty much shoves two Blazers out of bounds, I told my wife to take our Daughter to the bedroom because "Im not a very nice person at the moment". When that shot went in I just threw my hands in the air and walked around my living room for 5 or so minutes.

Yup. I remember being furious about that play. I genuinely believe the refs were trying to screw us and Dame hitting a miraculous shot was the only thing that kept us from being knocked out in game 7.

I felt the same way. Still feel that way regardless if its true or not because it was damn true the refs heavily favored Houston in 08.

Yeah that was awesome I was watching with two buddies at his house and we all started screaming. His wife came out and was mad for us being so loud with the baby down the hall than saw what happened and started yelling with us.

LMA - "I still cry myself to sleep every night"

LMA - "I didn't know Pop was gonna be this mean"

LMA - "Pop seemed really nice at dinner"

I honestly don't know what kept me watching that final 0.9 second because I just KNEW the refs were going to job us again, but when Dame hit the shot I was literally...and I DO mean literally....struck speechless. As BG will attest, that is an extremely rare condition for me......

Lamarcus Aldridge is a giant bitch. Way more so than LeBron James.

You hate James no? So why can't I hate a bigger bitch that's passive aggressive

Wook is still in denial that he left. He was so sure he was going to come back. It broke his mind.

They didn't ask the question I was hoping they would:

"Tex, do you think the reason you are struggling as a Spur is because you have your head up your ass?"

Geeeeeeeeeeeeeeez, some of y'all are way too mad at LMA leaving. Get the fuck over it and move on. FFS the guy's only in his late 20s, do you really expect him to make super rational decisions? All the I-hate-LMA bricks that've been shit could build the house for his shoe collection. If you think he was our #2 (or 3,4,...) on the way to a ring, then you're delusional.

The rebuild is official, so just roll with it.

    GO BLAZERS

The thing is, it's not about what he did, but HOW he did it. And what he's SAYING.

I don't know what he could've said that would've made anyone happy. I can understand a certain degree of dissent after him playing here his first 9 years, but it's been obvious for a while that Lamarcus has an introvert personality, which doesn't really lend itself to huge fan-fare. I also think the whole "y'know " thing is a complete cheap shot for said reasons. Some people just never get used to getting nervous on camera or in front of large groups of people. Trust me, I know. I was a teacher for 4 years and I never got completely comfortable with speaking in front of a large group of people.

I honestly don't think LMA is trying to disparage Portland or any of us fans. I just think his word choice isn't what a lot of fans want to hear...

    Anyhoo, GO 'ZERS!
