Ok why is the first thought in everybodies mind if they don't live in Detroit is "Imma get shot"? I have lived in Detroit my whole life and only heard gunshots I haven't actually seen a gun yet.It's bad but it's not extremely bad it's some other cities that are alot tougher than Detroit to live in.The brawl against the Pacers and Pistons in 04' if you look closely it Says the Palace of AUBURN HILLS just to show you something http://www.google.com/maps?ie=UTF-8&oe...p;tab=wl&q= I know it doesn't seem that long but gmaps is off a little bit but its a long way from detroit so you can't say it was people from Detroit who were included in the Brawl.Hopefully this will inform some of yall.
It's just certain people being ignorant, I don't think anyone with any intelligence actually believes that.

I hate it when foreign people say that the United States is filled with crime just because they hear about stories. I could see where you can get a bit annoyed. Detroit does have pretty high crime, but I'm not really afraid of anything as long as I stay smart about what I'm doing and so forth.
I found it amusing when CB4 was talking about how he would never want to live in the US, because he would hate to live in a country where the crime affected his life, yet he goes on about how many times he's been robbed, and all the stuff he's had stolen from him, it was rather ironic.
People in Massachusetts generalize the same thing about Lawrence and Mattapan (actually thats a bad example.. theres shootings there all the time, people all it Murderpan, hahahhahaha). But Lawrence isn't even that bad, rich white people are just so f*cking paranoid of hispanic people these days, it pisses me off. I go to Lawrence like every weekend and I've never been shot.. what now bitches.
It's kind of like when the Sacramento Kings played that video a while back showing Detroit as a run down city with all the gun fire and crime. It's a huge stereotype.
