    Yes, he just needs to cut back on those forced 3s. Like LA's fade-away, it looks awesome when you're really hot, but overall, you're going to shoot a low percentage. He should stick with good looks unless the clock is about to expire.

    Exactly. I couldn't agree more. Its like the more garbage he became from 3 the more he shoots those step back forced 3s and jacking up 3s 5ft behind the arc

    I'd say he's using the preseason to work on elements in his game that he thinks are a priority..defense and distribution..his assists are up and his defense has improved..he's a point guard and he needs to learn where these new guys strengths are..20 games into the season we'll have a better view of his progress

    Well well well. This thread went about as expected. You guys crack me up so much. All that shit talking and our boys blew it. Look, last nights game is EXACTLY how the season will go. No shame in that. I've said before, we have the young legs, heart and athleticism to hang with anybody FOR AWHILE! We will catch teams off guard a few times here or there, but talent and experience will win out 99% of the time. Funny to see guys on here actually upset about last nights game. Complete opposite here! Our boys made arguably the deepest team in the league have to reach down deep to get the W! Proud of my boys! I'll stick with my 20-25 win prediction. And this game solidified that.

    I think you're low ballin' the wins but I think you can be over 500 in the west and miss the playoffs...sticking with 43...11 fewer than Stotts best season..all this is contingent upon not making a trade though..this is an as is prediction

    Most of the posters here know basketball... Your assessment is just your opinion, some people share it, some don't. And I just don't understand why it's funny to you that some of us like being optimistic and thinking/hoping we can win and that we get upset when we lose. Why is that so funny?

    No different than if you drive a huge SUV and get pissed when you don't get good gas mileage..... or when you go on vacation to Cancun and get pissed you get a sun burn. I hate coming on here and reading people BLASTING my favorite team when they don't live up to completely unrealistic expectations. Sure, I want my Blazers to win 40 games and make the playoffs this year...... Will it happen, no. Why set your self up for failure. You don't get mad when you walk out onto the court and CAN'T dunk right? Of course not, cause there was NO way it was going to happen anyway. Be pissed when they lose, but be realistic.
