Morrison is the most inconsistant shooter in the NBA. I know he's a rookie, but he has been a dissapointment to be so far. He shoots an overall terrible percentage, and the sad part is that he doesn't do anything else on the court besides shoot and make some tweener shots. Games this month (shooting) 10-18 1-5 1-10 1-11 1-8 7-17 7-12 6-17 6-18 2-6 3-13 7-14 7-19 1-15 Look at all the ones I have bolded. Jesus christ. He's shooting 33% this month. What is wrong with him? I have only seen the Bobcats play 4 or 5 times this year, and in 3 of them he did pretty well. But I mean what exactly is it? Is he taking bad shots? Is his lack of speed and off the ball moves stopping him from getting open for a clean look? I mean what is it? He is shooting TERRIBLY in the NBA so far, and his 3-point percentage is a lot worse.
Damn, another Ben Gordon right there. Some of his games are just downright terrible. 1-11? Damn...I think he needs to stop being so soft, and attack the rim more fiercely. WHEN he attacks, he just goes up with that little running jumper. Go inside, use some power, and get to the line.
I knew he wouldn't be any good at any other part of his game but I expected better in scoring. I thought he would be a ROY candidate but his shooting % is just awful.
Exactly, he's got some size. He needs to stop settling for jumpers and take the ball to the rim. Thats what you do when your in a shooting slump, take it to the rack.

He may be 6'8'', but I bet my mother could bench as much as him. He's very skinny, he's weak, and his game is not taking it to the rack. His game is finesse shooting, but he's going to really have to get cleaner looks and hit the weight room more often. Bottom line: I expected better from Morrison, even this early on.

Get to the free throw line which could even help get his shooting touch back.
When your 6'8" 205-210 pounds with average speed your not going to get many FT's, not to mention he's a rookie. He's just not strong enough to have his way inside, he doesn't have the confidence. His shooting has been very dissapointing but I think he will be much better next season after a summer of hard work.
