All of which contradicts your argument; he isn't special because he doesn't have the work ethic or demeanor to be special, so...he is merely just above average. There are a *lot* of very talented unique players who were capable of being special, but never were actually special, but showed glimpses of it. Consistency is pretty big part of being special as well as wanting to be special. Batum is the poor mans dwight; has everything you need to be great, but just doesn't want it like others do. He doesn't have a burning fire inside of him. Real bummer.
