He'd replace Plumlee as the starting center. Meyers is our PF, and Stotts would want his shooting to pair with either Davis or Plumlee inside.
One nice thing about both Aminu's and Davis' contracts is that they're front loaded, so they reduce each year freeing up more available cap room for the next couple of years.
Davis showed a tremendous amount of value for this team, right now, as constructed. No denying that. He is a fucking cog. A valuable cog. A timely cog.

Until something more major changes, I still see Plumlee starting and Davis finishing. That would seem to make sense too. Plumlee did a nice job in the first quarter of moving the ball and messing up the defense. But, when it's crunch time, you want Davis rebounding and defending.
Like Sinobas said, it's not Meyers minutes he would take. He would just play more WITH Meyers. Stotts has been adamant (rightly so I believe) to play Plums or Davis with Meyers or Vonleh making sure an interior player is teamed with one who can stretch the floor. Davis is more of a rebounder and defensive stalwart but Plumlee is a brilliant passer for a big man racking up 6 assists last night which I think the starting lineup needs.
I can't wait until we get Henderson back. I know some people have already written him off, but I think he's going to really round out our rotation nicely.
He kinda reminds me of when the Blazers brought in Buck Williams. Seems to have made the whole team better - tougher - harder working. Glad to have him. Gramps...
