McCollum is instant offense. Can create space at will against anyone.

Aminu is a rebounding machine with defense.

CJ is an upgrade offensively from Wes, a downgrade defensively.

Amini is a big upgrade from Batum.

I love Aminu's hustle, defense, and athleticism. Fantastic. But, until he gets a little better control of his dribble, he will generate quite a few turnovers. This is the season though to let him work through it. Hopefully he can work through it and improve that part of his game, because he has a lot of really great thing going for him. I am really glad to have him on my team though!

    Please.

At this point, CJ is still Mo Williams. You can frag LMA, AA, RoLo, and Batum all you like. Wes (at least the player he was pre-injury) will be missed.

Mo Williams never scored 37 points before.

Haha I been telling people I don't see no difference between mo williams and Cj

No difference at all. Pretty soon we'll be saying good Cj, bad Cj on any given day.. Just like people did when mo was being hated on

Aminu rocks my world. When he jumps in arrms flailing and smashes down the rock I feel my heart soar. There is a cool liquid feeling that overcomes Ripcitboy in those moments...... My my!!

I think CI still has more upside than Mo. MO with us was in the middle of his prime. CJ wont be there for another 2-3 years. CJ is possibly the smartest guy on the team. I fully expect him to continue to break his game down and improve upon his deficiencies. CJ will be erratic this year. As will most of the players, but again.. major upside still. I think CJ will become a much better player than Mo when its all said and done. MO in his prime was a defensive liability. I think CJ's D is already at par with Mo on his best day.

With that said.. I chose Amino. He will help us create MANY fast breaks with his defense. I see it coming.
The whole team is young and excited. They are going to blow there wad early and at the wrong time at times. We all did as pups. But Most of us gained control with some steady experience. ;)

I'd want to give CJ at least half a season before declaring him no better than Mo. I think Mo is a little more reckless. He might be similar to Mo circa 07-10, who was a really good player. But anyway, Aminu might be emerging as our #2.

CJ's ability to create in the mid-range is upper tier. His ability to pass to the wide-open man when 3 defenders come towards him is non-existent. I like Aminu a little better because he can do so many things where for now, CJ is entirely one dimensional. That one dimension is great when he is hot.

Aminu has impressed me thus far. Plumlee too.

I'm not nearly as pessimistic about this team as I might've been just a month ago. And there really is no where to go but up. If they sniff .500 this season that means they gelled and developed well. If they meet those 27 win projections than there is a draft to look forward to...but hopefully just one.

I chose Aminu. Being the second leading scorer does not mean you are the second best on the team. Aminu plays on both sides of the court and rebounds efficiently. The fact that he can defend four positions alone makes him better than CJ.

Aminu has a ways to go as a ball handler, but it's not as much his handles as keeping the ball from defenders. His rebounding has been great and timely. He seems to get so many big important rebounds. And he is only getting started. Still want to see Harkless get more aggressive and love seeing him next to Aminu.

Aminu IMO is going to have one of the better viewed contracts in the NBA, signing him for 30 mil for 4 seasons given some of the ridiculous deals that we saw is simply a steal

Aminu is basically Stacey Augmon. On this team this year, he's the second best player IMHO.

I liked Plastic Man a lot, even in his lesser years as a Blazer. But Aminu is like Plastic Magnum . . .
