So its Halloween, and I've had it planned to go to my mother in laws with my wife and son and stay the night...which crazy enough I'm OK with...then a friends calls, says hey man I got some tickets for fifth row seats for the Blazers Game tonight...and if I go my wife will hang me by my balls....looks like I will have to decline...God must hate me

I'm sure you can find someone in the forum to take your place at your mother in laws house.

    Problem solved.

I was going to say you should ask to see a picture of his wife first but then I remembered you live in your mom's basement and a date with his wife and mother in law is probably looking pretty damn good to you.

Personally I'd take the hanging by the balls option. It only hurts for a little while. A year ago today, BG and I skipped Halloween to attend the Giants victory parade. Our wives were pissed but we survived and are both still married. Man up Chris. Your kids will never remember that you missed trick or treat but you will always remember you were offered killer tickets and missed the game...

Your wife only let you go cuz I paid for it. Yet, your wife still seemed more annoyed than mine.

Eh, if it was courtside that's one thing... but 5th row for the 3rd game of the season? Meh.

Never got to be closer than the 300 level for a game.

A way to alleviate that for cheaper is to buy a 300 ticket, and then do the upgrade through the trailblazers app for like 5 bucks... I've scored great seats for like 40 bucks that way. One time getting the option to sit 7th row (I turned it down to be more central in the 9th row)

...well then you are just going to have to meet up with the girls AFTER the game! It's worth any and all sacrifices to be that close to the action.

Easy solution. With what you're gonna end up spending on your wife to make it up to her, you could just buy good tickets to a non premium game for a date that better suits you. Could even take the son, and get bonus points for being a good dad
