You know Kobe gets voted in unfortunately.

So this is your non-laker-loving hacked account.

I can't keep them all together!

Who was the last player to get voted in with horrible numbers?

Even at 39 in his last year, Jordan was putting up 20 ppg, on 44.5% shooting, 6 boards, 3 assists, and 1.5 steals.

Kobe at age 37 is averaging 17 ppg on 31% shooting, 4 boards, 1.7 assists, and 0.7 steals.

I'm not big on players getting picked for the all-star team based on the success of their careers. Lets let the new young fresh blood come in and show what they got.

Kobe should man up and decline.

Didn't A.I. get voted and hadn't even played the whole season in Denver? Or Duncan 2 years ago was pretty lame.

I don't even remember. I know Magic was voted in even though he wasn't active.

There may be. But it's not the one we're living in.

Also, the All Star game is more about what an all star used to do than what they do now. Paul could get injured tomorrow and still make it.

Maybe not, but there is certainly a universe in which Kobe doesn't make it.

What were the votes between Kobe and the 3rd place guard last year?

With Harden dating a Kardashian and Steph putting on an amazing show as the best player since Jordan they could make it. Or CP3 maybe could get the LA vote and pass Kobe.

While it was hard to see Wes go, CJ is more than filling that loss. I hope his confidence and production continue! Aminu is totally making me forget about Batum.

The biggest issues I have with the NBA is letting the fans pick the all stars. Its a farce. Kobe a given. Thats bs period, but stupid fans....
There should be some sort of official ranking kind of like college football for teams, but make it positional. Stats are analized and a list of the top 5 in each position for each conference are listed for the coaches to pick what they feel would be the best team...or something like that... but letting the fans?? Doesnt this forum alone prove that we are not rational with our fandom????

I don't think he will. This is his last season after all.

The HCP's views on young players in the NBA all star game has no affiliation whatsoever with his views on young scrubs on S2!
